I ordered this item to have a handy way to inflate my slam after they lose air over time. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. However, this little unit worked incredibly well.It charges quickly via USB Micro (120 minutes to full charge / with 30 inflates per charge), has all of the accessories needed to get going (USB cable, air needles, attachment hose, etc..), has pre-set modes for a football, a soccer ball, a basketball, etc.. And is super compact & lightweight (6.29″ x 1.4″ & weighing only 6.5oz).I haven’t tried, but don’t see why you couldn’t even inflate a bicycle tire with this unit as well. However, I probably wouldn’t try with anything larger like a car or truck tire out of concern of damaging the pump.There is an auto-shut off option (IE: when you use a ball preset the pump will turn off when it dispenses the appropriate amount of air for the selected ball), however, there is no pressure gauge. So, if you don’t use the preset, then you have to go by feel (or have an air gauge on hand).As far as my experiment, I didn’t even use the presets. Just popped in the needle into my slam ball & turned on the pump. It inflated (my very deflated) slam ball in a matter of seconds. A success!If you’re constantly using a foot pump or bike pump to inflate your sports equipment, bike tires, etc.., then seriously consider this portable pump instead. Makes this process super easy. There’s even an attachment that looks like it’s to be used for blowing up balloons! Very cool!

What a great little pump, managed to pump up my gym ball, will be handy for any sports ( balls) used it on my bicycle too.handy light on it too, keeps charge for a long time too.

This could not be easier to use – simply attach a needle, select the pressure you want to inflate to (6-13) and press the power button! It’s quiet, inflates quickly and stops once done! Super convenient and would be a great addition to any kit bag where you’re regularly inflating things. Has inflated several so far and the battery is still going strong – it’s rechargeable too so an added bonus.Would definitely recommend!

Bought to blow up a pool float on holiday. Took me a while to work out how to use it, I didn’t find the instructions simple enough for me, but I persevered and got there eventually. It came with the appropriate adaptor for the float. It charged easily which was just as well as it turned out the float had a slow puncture so it was used every day during our holiday.

Previously when pumping up all balls weekly / manually (sometimes 10/12) you pump up, guessing pressure, then check the pressures on all balls and correct and check again if wrong (90% of them) 10 balls could take 15/20 mins.With this beauty it took 4mins to do them all. I coach 2 under 11 football teams and was sick of having a hand pump topping up balls and also having to use my car tire pump for a full inflate. So I took a punt with this just to top up the balls. When it turned up it was tiny and I thought this will never work. It fit in my bag went to training in mins I had topped up 10 balls. I had just received 15 new balls and it inflated all of them with no issue. Great product.

Small and handy in the kit bag. Not sure how accurate the pressures are but once you set it to what you want, it seems to give consistent results with zero effort. A bit lazy? yes -compared to a large pump or footpump, but way better anything else i’ve tried that’s as compact. Seems quite solidly built, only time will tell.

Great little pump, so much better than I imagined it might be. It reinvigorated my son’s cherished (but a bit soft) football collection in no time! He likes to change which ball he plays with almost daily and old muggins here is usually the one who gets the pleasure of using the old manual pump. This saves me time and effort and is simple to use, it’s very compact, inflates a size 5 ball in around 30 seconds and I would describe it as whisper quiet (unless you put it down and it does vibrate on the surface). I paid £21 which reading the other views it has been cheaper, but I really wouldn’t complain at twice the price. If you pump up a lot of balls, get one you won’t regret it!

EDIT: 2 years after purchasing, the psi pressure gauge has stopped working. Still pumps but have to stop it manually. Used regularly but only in a light, domestic environment so quite disappointing so I’ve adjusted to 3 stars. Original review is below.This is a fantastic ball pump. No more fatigued arms and no more guessing. This will inflate a flat ball in about 20 seconds and to the specific psi pressure you need. For size 5 footballs that I use it for, 10 psi seems to be the sweet spot. I switch the pump on and the setting I had (i.e. 10psi) is there by default until it’s changed. Stick the needle into the ball and press the start button….. few seconds later all done. You don’t even have to hold it as it’ll do it’s job placed on the floor. Apart from being extremely easy to use and saving you time, it also prevents over or under inflating as it shuts off automatically once the set psi is reached, allowing you to get on with your game without any complaints that the ball is rock hard or too soft. The charge will last around 20-30 balls pumped from flat and the red low battery light comes on to let you know it needs recharging, although it will still pump a few more balls before it goes flat. Fantastic build quality and very compact as well. Also comes with a drawstring bag to krtp the pump and adapter together.Twice the price of manual pumps but so much more convenient and precise. If you’re thinking of getting a pump for your footballs, this is an absolute bargain and a no brainer. Cost me £19.49 with Prime next day delivery but now that I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks, I’d easily pay £50 if that’s what it cost……. a fantastic purchase. Will update this review if I come across any durability issues down the line but so far so good and like I said, if you need a pump, make it this one!!Important note…….. ignore the negative reviews that say it takes too long to pump a ball or doesn’t inflate properly. I also had this but it’s because you need to know how to use it properly, otherwise it won’t inflate. Step by step……..1. Long press the power button to turn the pump on BEFORE you put the needle in the ball, not AFTER…… otherwise it may not inflate the ball due to psi calibration being out of sync (this is where the negative reviewers go wrong).2. Stick the needle in the ball and short press the power button to start inflating.If you haven’t followed the instructions properly and it’s not inflating, turn it off and remove the needle from the ball, then turn power back on and short press the power and led buttons simultaneously to recalibrate the pump. All lights will flash to let you know it’s been recalibrated, then go back to step one…….. note that the recalibration process is not really necessary but worth trying if the step by step instructions are not working for you…… normally, just taking the needle out of the ball and turning the power on and off will reset the psi calibration.It’s much easier in practice than how I’m making it sound. Once you get the hang of it, it’s like riding a bike 😊

First impressions – WOW! Took a while to charge, but then I pumped up a size 3 ball and a size 4 and 5. I am SO Impressed! It pumps up a lot quicker than manual and also doesn’t tire! I got this £14.99 and am purchasing 2 more. I can’t actually believe how low the price is, for a product that feels like a PREMIUM purchase. VERY well constructed, feels a lot more expensive, easy to use. I run a football club and we are always pumping balls up especially when we buy new ones, so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! BUY IT!

It’s solid, has light indicators and it pumps stuff for me. The pressure… not sure it’s accurate reading, however it will go until it’s enough. You can still top it up manually. Comes with spare needles and a wide attachment for sport equipment. Charges fast as well and lasts a while. I even managed to pump a balloon with it, just for the fun.

This is a sturdy little pump which is easy to use without looking at instructions. It makes me look a bit lazy but when I have a zillion netballs to pump up, I can cope with that. It is easy to carry around and comes with a satin bag to store the USB lead and spare needles. I’ll be buying another one.

I like this pump. It makes pumping up balls super easy. I’m not so trusting of the auto shut off according to the ball selector, so I keep a feel on how pumped the ball is becoming. I like having this on hand to “top off” balls. It comes with several needles which is appreciated including one for yoga balls. It charges via a usb cord.

Have only used this to pump 2 footballs so far – and there’s a reason. It works, 100%, but it works slowly. If time pressed, can’t shake the feeling I’d be better off pumping manually. If I were a coach with loads of balls to inflate then this would be handy and/or if I suffered from RSI or arthritis. It definitely serves a purpose but probably not worth the investment if you are fully hale and healthy with only 1 or 2 balls to inflate periodically.

Note that the volleyball pressure is set to 6.0 LBS. The Baden Ball for example which is the official ball used for NFHS events as well as our practice balls is supposed to 4.3-4.6 LBS. of pressure. (National Federation of High Schools is the body over most state athletics associations)

So, when I bought this pump and went to use it, it took longer to inflate a ball than a hand pump due to it constantly cutting out. I wrote a review on here as I was incredibly disappoint with it. Unexpectedly they messaged me and offered to send a replacement free of charge. I accepted, hoping that I had received a faulty pump. When I received the new pump I charged it up and began to use it. This pump works well. It isn’t as fast as using a traditional bike pump, but it is a lot easier. I mainly use it for soccer balls and the like. It’s not great for bike tires because it doesn’t tell you the pressure inside the tire.

I must admit, when I first got his pump I was very impressed. It worked great, and was extremely simple to use. However, after a year, the pump lost its pressure. It now fails to fully inflate balls, leaving it running indefinitely as it never gets a ball up to pressure.Hopefully the quality of the device has improved by now, as initially it was great. I’m wondering how many other owners of this pump have experienced the same issue.

Actually super impressed with this electric ball pump. For around the same price of a decent hand pump you really can’t compare ease of use, especially as my unit came charged allowing me to use it immediately. Although it doesn’t give a super accurate reading for the current psi, the setting for a basketball (8 pounds per square inch) appears to be just right. Although I can’t give a review for performance at higher pressures it seems to be perfect for general use and is small enough to be carried in a large pocket. Extremely happy with my purchase.
