I travel every other week and was tired of lugging rollerbags. I wanted a very light weight backpack that could fit under the seat if needed. This bag is perfect. Light but made well. Holds plenty for a week of travel and feels fine carrying. Good work. Perfect business companion.

I usually like LL bean backpacks but Mine was lost between two moves and I never really NEEDED a backpack until I started getting outside more. So last minute I bought this for a hiking trip and I carried it with two 40oz bottles of water, two changes of clothes, an extra pair of shoes, wallet, phone, and keys and could have easily packed double. This thing holds A LOT. this will be your new favorite backpack.
Michellle Fortier –
I thought it would be a little bigger so at first I was disappointed and contemplated returning it but I’m glad I didn’t. Comfortable to wear with lots of pockets, it makes it easy to keep things separate and organized instead of being a mess of objects on the bottom of a bag
Amanda –
This is a great, lightweight backpack. When I first opened it I thought I would never get it folded back into its little travel pouch, but I did, and it was really easy. The backpack has several pockets and the zippers seem sturdy. It is made of very light material and doesn’t have any stiff backing in it that will trap heat when hiking. Overall, this is exactly what we were looking for, and the price was perfect.

We bought this backpack for day trips for our family of three and it’s been great. I really like how easy it folds up into the front pocket when not in use to save space. I’ve been able to pack it in our suitcase for vacations. without it taking up a bunch of room. It holds a ton of stuff too. We even used it in a pouring rainstorm with success. While it isn’t waterproof, it is water resistant enough that our items inside the backpack were protected.

I totally love this bag, and have already ordered two more for family members. I purchased this one, and another brand; same size, price and pink color, with the intention of gifting the one I liked the least. The size, material, strap and zipper quality is far superior on this bag! So much so, that I ordered another one just like this to give as the gift. It will come in handy in my travels and folds nicely when not in use.
Mike Kemp –
This makes a great bugout bag or backup pack, and packs down to almost nothing when empty. It’s reasonably strong and holds a good bit of stuff as well. The straps begin to dig into my shoulders, and my neck gets a little sore if I pack it heavy and use it for long hikes.
primeismeantomybankaccount –
This backpack is freaking amazing. I bought it rather impulsively before a trip and literally every day was thinking about how miserable I would have been without it. Perfect amount of pockets, perfect amount of support, I freaking love this thing. Frankly it’s better than every other daypack I’ve ever owned, and so much more affordable.Edit: My 13 year old daughter has commandeered this for herself so I’m purchasing a replacement for myself.Edit: April 2020 – still using this bad boy weekly. It’s the damn best backpack I’ve ever had.

I was impressed at the quality of this Backpack. The material of apparent excellent durability, but so light and can be easily folded into it’s own attached bag. It will easily fit in my suitcase. I also like that it has various compartments inside. And is very roomy inside

This is a great bag. Lightweight, sturdy, lots of utility. I would buy it again if it ever wears out but it shows no sign if wear after a year of daily use. You can buy this bag with confidence.
Crystal –
Super easy to keep in your suitcase as an extra bag. Loved how easy and compatible it was to put away. We loved it so much we bought a second one. Zippers are strong too and a lot of pockets for smaller items.
Bill Boyd –
This pack is even better than I thought it would be for walking our puppy. It holds everything you might need; I use the side pockets for an umbrella and a doggy water bottle. It slips on and off easily. Best of all, it’s so light I barely notice it’s there. After several weeks, it’s not showing the slightest signs of wesr, so I expect it will last long into the future.
Abra –
For the $ with regular use it’s a one year back pack.. it’s ultra light, can be compacted easily, and holds a sizable lunch pack, 4 waters (16oz) using the two outside mesh holders, and an iPad Pro no problem with room left in the outside zippered pouch and room inside the main compartment left for a 6 pack and a big grab bag of chips size worth of space left.Keep heavy items with corners away from the material as a good jolt or bounce may puncture. Good luck!
Yufan –
I absolutely love this backpack mainly because it is compact and it is light weight. When it is folded into the pouch, the size is so small that you can store it pretty much anywhere. I will definitely put it into my luggage when I travel since it won’t take up the space at all. For its light weight construction, it feels surprisingly high quality in hand. The buckles and straps feel durable. The material used is water resistant, so you don’t have to worry too much for light rain. I like that it has couple light reflective straps for night usage. It is an all-around backpack for any sorts of outdoor usage. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I can’t believe this pack only cost $20. The construction of it is flawless. Light weight, lots of pockets and folds up into itself so small you could almost put it in your pocket. I’m thinking about buying another one to store in the one I already have. You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a light weight pack. not sure about water proof but I would assume it would be no more water proof than any other pack. Plan accordingly and you wont have a problem.

Have been using this backpack for 2yrs now. It’s my go to for day trips and bike rides. Sturdy and stays on well with the shoulder strap. Have also flown with it as a carry on item. Looking to buy a second one for my spouse. Economical, would definitely recommend.
Christine Maness –
The back pack is perfect for travelers. It collapses into a small pouch to fit in a suitcase. I got it to take on an Alaskan cruise. We had day trip adventures planned and it allowed me to carry items. It is extremely light weight. Has a chest buckle for support.Only thing to keep in mind it is NOT a stiff sided back pack. It will collapse or fall over if not weighted or stack packed.
Martha Mary –
I purchased this to carry my bicycle supplies (air pump, spare tube, lock) instead of hanging a bag on my bike. It is light weight, and compact. Straps are adjustable altho I am struggling with the placement of the chest strap. Results in a wet back due to sweating – may be the plastic against my T-shirt. I am re-thinking my choice and may just purchase a bike bag and rear tire rack – repurpose this bag.
Joe –
Very durable and lots of pockets and departments to put stuff in. It’s very lightweight and yet holds everything I need. I’ve had plenty of backpacks in the past but this easily trumps others in durability and versatility.

I love this backpack. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it. It does its job well. Easy to fold, zippers work well, can hold a lot, good on my shoulders. If you are looking for something lightweight that can hold a decent amount of weight, I would highly recommend this pack.
dyroy –
Very pleased with this light weight backpack. I use and abuse it daily, both going to and from work and tramping around Norway and Sweden for 3 weeks. It has held up beautifully. The multiple pockets are designed and work excellently to keep contents organized. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

He estado usando ésta mochila por varios meses, y se mantiene igual que cuando la compré. Buena calidad. La recomiendo con total seguridad.
Chupacabra AbaCadraba –
Use this pack for in town and haven’t found a better one after several different types and brands. It will hold up to water for 20 minutes or so, and then start soaking thru. Highly recommend.
Mike Kenney –
Took a family trip from Alaska to San Diego with little kids and took a chance with this backpack…it was worth it! Lightweight, strong, and able to carry all the essentials (coats, snacks, etc.) for six consecutive days of theme parks from the zoo to Disneyland with no issues. Note, it rained two of those days and the items inside remained dry…but I will call out that this is a “water resistant” backpack NOT waterproof!Great, deep mesh pockets for REAL water bottles! The backpack folds up nicely into its own pocket pouch, which I plan on having in my fishing vest for the upcoming fishing season on the rivers this summer to carry home sockeye salmon. If the pack survives the summer season, this backpack will most likely be my gift of choice for family and friends over the next year…as long as the price stays below $20.Of note, add one of this non-load bearing carabiners to the pack when hiking or in theme parks, good to hang a hat on.

I got this to have as a first aid kit at work. I work in childcare so we need a good bag to carry all our first aid and stuff in. This works great and I love the color.
Malissa –
Very study and folds down to a very small size the quality is very good much better then I thought it would be I even order a second one after for a friend because they liked it
Yarden Alfonso –
Great! & durable. Can withstand a 20lb slam ball for a 4 mile walk.FYI, there’s no hard bottom to the bag, so I suggest adding something to help give shape & so whatever is in your bag is not resting right on the tailbone
Chris Warner –
The fabric is a little thin it doesn’t feel very durable and is smaller than you would think but it does get the job done it was but for a field trip and got the job done I don’t know that it would work very well for long term use.
Brandon Huffman –
Very VERY lightweight, it straps really well to my back. Very comfortable even if there is weight inside. The nylon fabric is water resistant and NOT waterproof unfortunately; however, I did leave this bag in the rain for half an hour during a soccer practice and the inside was still bone dry. So if you leave this in a hurricane expect it to get soaked but you can take it on a hike during a rainy day no problem. The reflective tabs are a great safety measure even if they’re a little small.Small con: the front buckle has excess strap that you can’t tuck in so it just kinda hangs freely and personally I’m OCD on stuff like that. Luckily, you can detach it and reattach if need be.

This is a great compact, lightweight backpack that’s perfect for cycling or hiking. I got it for my boyfriend who rides his bike 14 miles every day, and it is able to carry all of his notebooks and even laptop easily while distributing the weight much more comfortably than his previous backpack did. I definitely recommend this backpack, and it is much more affordable than other backpacks of similar quality!

Used this pack in Europe this summer and it was great. It has plenty of pockets and storage and is comfortable to wear. It was much lighter and had more storage than my old laptop backpack that I normally use for travel. Plus, if folds up into it’s own pocket.

It is a really cool backpack, my son loves it. It arrived in a small package and I thought it is a wrong item, it surprised us after opened it up. It is big enough to have a lot stuff in. See the video my kids did.

It’s decent for a cheaper backpack. hiking in Colorado Rockies with lots of water in there, it was quite difficult and hurt my shoulders… to be fair discomfort would have occurred with any bag sit to what I was carrying. But, the straps could have more cushion. Great for kids hiking lightweight bag. Also, perfect for storing away.
Mab –
I bought this backpack as I needed something foldable for when I travel in case I do some extra shopping. I usually travel with a carry on as I hate to pay for extra luggage and I like to travel light. This does the job. It is super light though it has a lot of space. It folds into a small cosmetic size purse. I’ve bought two so far in different colors and they are both great.
Tom W. Adamczyk –
I got this backpack for our trip to Disney, and I worked very well. I put tons of water bottles and food in it and it held up great. My only complaint is the front strap. The design is faulty and the snap keeps falling off the belt. Minor issue.
Jess –
I bought this for a hiking trip in the Canadian Rockies; it’s so compact when not in use, it hardly took any space up in my suitcase! The backpack is so lightweight, but roomy, and fit an extra set of clothes, sweatshirt/jacket, snacks, water, etc., and I loved the inner pocket for my phone & keys. Lots of other pockets to organize all of your stuff, too! I am so happy that I bought this bag!
Desra K –
When I went to use the pack for the first time one of the adjustable chest straps was missing. (to much time has pass to return the item) For me this is a key item to have then you are hiking so your pack does not slip down. Looks like the straps are easy to come unattached to the pack, will have to try to find a replacement chest strap or buy a new pack. If the strap was there I would give it a 5 star.Update: Company reached out to me regarding my missing chest strap. New intact backpack was sent to me with in days. Great customer service and would recommend this product. Cannot wait to use it on day hikes this summer & for boy scouting activities with my son.
SCP88 –
I like to use this for my vacation and not for hiking. I always end up shopping during my vacation and this is like my extra handy back pack for carrying those stuff. This is good quality and it carries good amount of things but I haven’t really carries anything super heavy. My friend ended up ordering one for himself because he goes camping a lot and he likes the size and style of this bag.
TA –
Love these backpacks! I got 2 for my daughter who is in scouts and goes hiking and biking a lot. One for scouting and one for other activities. I got myself 2 for the same purposes and have since purchased a few to give as gifts. Light weight but very sturdy and durable. Lots of pockets, zippers work well, don’t get stuck, fits perfectly for my daughters smaller frame and for mine as well, very comfortable, doesn’t pull on my neck (forcing it forward) like some backpacks tend to do. Not a giant backpack, not sure how it would work if it was full of heavy books? Not sure if it could handle that? Haven’t tried. Washed great though, looks brand new again. Had a very caustic bug repellant spill in it and melted some of the things in it but it didn’t destroy the backpack. Deer will melt plastic but the backpack is still fine.
Maritza Cotto Cribley –
This pack was very nice, it was comfortable and the straps are wide enough that the weight of the pack didn’t weigh in on your shoulders. I LOVE how it folds into itself for easy storage. We used them (we bought 2) on our day hiking trips into Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I was so happy that we got these, we were able to pack plenty of snacks, drinks, towels etc.. for a family of 6, definitely happy with this purchase.
P Hann –
The light weight and spaciousness is what attracted me to this backpack/daypack. I am very impressed with the quality of the product. Zippers work well. Plenty of space for all carryons for cruise. Fold-away design is perfect for storage between trips. Very happy with this purchase.
Amber K –
So light and holds a lot more than I thought. I even use it at an over night bag which I place night clothes, gym clothes, work clothes, shoes, makeup, straightener and STILL have room. When I got it, I thought it was smaller than I needed but ended up perfect for hiking. For the price I even ended up carrying extra stuff for others hiking because bags they spent twice as much on ran out of room. My 7 year old loves it because it is ridiculously light and easy for her to carry even if it seems a bit big for her.
Anthony –
Honestly I have a few bags like this one that I’ve bought previously that I’ve been pretty disappointed with. They’re all marketed as lightweight hiking bags but most I get are lightweight but that makes them also really really flimsy and often only last one or two trips. This one upon opening I was really impressed to see the quality of the stitching and the durability of the material. It is lightweight and it is compact but it still has so much space and oddly more support than I would have expected from a bag of its ilk. I really like the aesthetic of it and also have managed to fit in so much stuff without it being too heavy. I will say that like others have said it is still a lightweight bag so don’t expect to put a laptop in it and then throw it around and have the laptop still be in one piece but if you treat it carefully with electronics it will hold and be functional. I enjoy it a lot and have already put it in my plans to bring it with me when I go hiking overseas next month.

I have this in 4 colors. My whole family uses them. When we want something light, when we’ll be doing a lot of walking, and as spare bags on trips. I always leave one in my trunk. They’re very durable and have lots of pockets. I have purple, royal blue, pink, and black. It’s also easier to spot family members in a crowd when everyone has a different color.
Redecorating Mom –
Bought this on a whim in case someone on our trip in the mountains wanted something separate from their carry-on travel backpacks when we were out and about. I ended up using it every day for every outdoor activity we did and it was amazing. Super light, tons of pockets, sturdy. The only thing I wished it would have had was on one heavy hiking day, a waist strap would have been nice. But I wouldn’t hold off on buying this one just because of that. I will be getting one of these for the whole family for our next trip. When it was time to come home, I just folded it back up into its little case. Fabulous. I have a great Lululemon backpack I got years ago that has always been my go-to for travel or outdoors but from now on I will only be using it for things in town…it weighs like 3+ pounds empty compared to this weightless adventure pack. That featherweight makes all the difference on a long day of hiking, biking, etc.

I need a new backpack to throw my gear in and lug from job to job. Choose this radomly and it was way better than expected. Its lasted some pretty tough conditions ans is still going strong.
Audrey C –
Plan on taking this on our trip to Europe this year. I love the size and ease to pack up again in its own pouch. Has many zippered pockets for all your stuff. And the material and zippers seem durable.

I bought this for my daily commute. It’s a great, lightweight bag that holds a ton of stuff. Eyeglasses, water bottles (2), deodorant, files, books, sunglasses, flashlight, snacks, and more. It’s perfect for a daily commute. One thing wish it did better was having a way to tighten the material around the water bottle to keep it secure and snug. Otherwise, it’s a great, compact little backpack that folds into a tiny package should you ever want to fold it up.
Nathan Silver –
I love this bag. Period. This bag is capable of so much, whether it’s carrying your soccer gear or acting as a personal item bag on a plane. Also good for taking it on a hike or bike ride. Love that it can fold up and zip into a very small compact size. The straps are pretty comfortable, the whistle works well, and the pockets are all very convenient. Highly recommend for anyone.
Tom H. –
Nice and light. Seems strong enough for most people’s needs. Plenty of compartments, including inner ones to hold various items. I use it for carrying a basketball to a court, and this doesn’t make my back dripping with sweat before I even get there like my old backpack did. The ball is a tight fit, width-wise, but it fits.
N. Karr –
This backpack was perfect for the day hikes that I recently did. It is comfortable, lightweight and has many pockets. I am very happy with my purchase.
Worker girl –
I just got this beautiful, safe hiking backpack today and it was delivered on a Sunday even though I chose the free standard shipping. It has a reflector strip on the front, a reflector strip on the left side, a reflector strip on the right side, a whistle buckle for emergencies and plenty of storage space for your hiking essentials.
Amazon Customer –
We are big day trippers! I was looking for a pack to hike and bike that was not too big & not too small! I can fit my own extra clothes, as well as the family’s (why does Mom end up with everyone’s stuff? LOL). Plenty of pockets for the wallet and keys, larger waterbottles, and lunch (in addition to all the clothes). Bonus: it folds up small for storage!

This little backpack is exactly what you need for a day pack or maybe a carry-on It comes all folded up in a little pocket package so you can fold them up when not using it as a backpack and it turns into a like a 6×4 square that you can put into your other bags if you need to when it’s on raveled it has loads of space great pockets everywhere The zippers don’t catch when you’re zipping or unzipping them It’s nice and bright good colors good quality good material very happy like I said I purchased a secondary one because I like the first one so much and they’re so inexpensive.
Christine A –
This pack has done well for me. I’ve lugged a bunch of stuff in it; on the plane, out of the country, and road trips. The zippers do tend to get stuck but so far it’s been easy to get it unstuck. Crossing my fingers that will always be the case because a I do panic a tiny bit every time it gets stuck. The only thing that would have made it perfect for me would have been a waist strap and maybe a hole for my hydration bladder tube. I did carry a bit of weight in it and surprisingly my shoulders were not sore the day after.
