This was purchased for my camping trip. It does the job of lighting up the inside of my tent when going to the bathroom. Otherwise, I would not recommend if you are looking for a lantern to light up a large area.

It is light weight and easy to use, but uses up the batteries in remarkably short time and has only one brightness. Other similar lanterns have 3 or 4 settings. I bought this model because the others died after just over a year of moderate use !

The light power on these are OK. I noticed the batteries drained pretty quickly, causing the lights to dim rather soon after placing fresh batteries in. Maybe I just have them on for a long time camping, but can’t really be all that mad with how much I paid for them. They are good bargain lanterns and have a nice design to them!

Ordered the lanterns for an upcoming camping trip. When they arrived, they were missing some of the items. I spoke to Amazon who sent a replacement. The replacement I received was a piddly carabiner clip and nothing else. Do not recommend the purchase of this item.

Pros: Ease of use and versatility with the handles and carabiner is great. Lightweight enough to hang from my tent.CONS: one of the batteries came slightly dented. Still worked, but light was dimmer. Didn’t have another option as we were at our campground and the store was closed. Used a total of 4 nights. Bought replacement batteries for both lanterns and one of the lanterns doesn’t work. I didn’t expect these to last for years, but 4 nights is simply too short.

Doesn’t really emit light. It’s bright – but just at the source. It was lightweight and small. It was sufficient for the cause- emergency lighting. But, I foolishly left the cheap original batteries in it – which exploded and corroded the contacts, so they didn’t last out the year. Since I wasn’treally thrilled with it – I’m going to try something else.

Got it yesterday and excited to open and check it. Overall it’s well designed and nice looking. Everything is good just as described . Safe and easy to use it by push out and push back for every family member both inside and outside. Recommend it to people who need a carry-on light no matter in emergency or in normal use.

We received these camping lanterns a few days ago and very satisfied with them. Everything in package was exactly as described on Amazon. There were two lanterns, batteries and a carabiner all included in a carry bag. The lanterns are compact, just a little bit taller than an iPhone. They can be carried around in pocket or in a backpack easily. They are probably the brightest lanterns I have ever seen. Extremely useful when there is a power failure or there is a need to work in dark. Great addition to our emergency kit. We will buy a few more so each kid can have one when we go camping next summer. Plus we will need one or two in garage and maybe one in each room. Overall excellent product and I recommend the lanterns to everyone.

I’ve not a clue as to why this product has any good reviews whatsoever. When I opened my lanterns, they were in pieces. They weren’t glued together, so you couldn’t even raise the lantern part up to turn it on. I tried to take a photo, but I don’t think it will make any sense unless you have one of the lanterns in front of you. All I can say is that it arrived completely broken, and if it had arrived in it’s glory, it still would have fallen apart within minutes.

Had a few bugs through out the night even tho I used deepwoods spray inside plus tent was easy to set up ish but not 15 min. 2ppl could fit but really tight and will get hot inside.

Bought these for emergency use. Put out quite a bit of light and don’t take up much room. The carry bag was a nice touch.Gave them to son for his emergency bag. Living in Okla. the weather is very unpredictable and you have to be prepared for power outages. These lanterns are just perfect for this.

These lanterns are great! The compact size compared to the lumen capacity is amazing! Not to mention the time length of the battery use is impressive. I live in a remote rural area, so they are perfect for those times when the power is out from heavy storms. A single unit really lights up a room or space perfectly, a second is not even needed! I like that they have a bag for storage, so much so I purchased a more sets to keep in my truck for all emergencies and a set for my camping/hiking adventures!

I like the lanterns the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the orange bag that they go in was missing a chunk out of the corner like they ran out of material or the cut it off for som reason I have no ideal they must notify have quality control.
