Ok, so this flashlight delivers focused beam of UV that is probably 10 times more powerful than the normal ubiquitous pet urine detector $3 light with ten or so LEDs.This is much, much more quality here and function. Comes with a plastic shell if you decide to buy the Morpilot Lithium battery, which, curiously is absent from their website among about 50 other batteries that they sell.I used this to highlight the automotive AC UV tracer, and it does so beautifully. Highlights organic matter just as well.I would highly recommend this one for the function/aesthetics/quality at a still very low price combination.As always, never keep modern batteries inside anything, – they will leak and destroy.

Not a bad little light. Much sturdier than the cheapos at WMart. I purchased this for the UV light to help me run down a leak in my truck’s air conditioning. Worked perfectly for that after sunset. It’s not the brightest, but for the price I didn’t expect it to be. And since it has three modes I decided it would be the perfect light to keep in my glove compartment.I’d give it 5 stars if it were a little brighter and if the mode change was a little more intuitive.

I am so pumped about this. It comes with 3 triple a batteries, which is cool, or you have the option of taking out the battery holder, and put in the clear tube and putting in an 18650 battery ( which I have several because I vape lol) and of course you’re going to get a brighter light and longer battery life with the 18650, but you get a really bright light with triple a’s as well. This thing is awesome, it is exceptionally bright, and it has 4 modes. Bright, low,(which is still bright) strobe(which will just about blind someone and I recommend strobe as part of a home defense plan, and it also has UV mode which is really useful (especially if you have cats that don’t always use their litter box lol). It is also a pretty sturdy little light, feels like it’s made of a lighter metal, and feels great in the hand. I was looking at other lights on amazon, but decided with this, because it has UV mode. It does get pretty hot if it’s on high and you run it for over 10 minutes but that’s the only negative which isn’t really even a negative for me. Seriously I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!! And the best part is the price. If you’re looking for a light, and are stuck between a few, go for this one, it blew me away.

I’ve purchased this flashlight specifically for the UV features. The light beam is so bright, it’s amazing. I really like the “zoom” feature included in the handle. I’ve taken pictures of my kitchen cabinet beside my oven with regular light and with this UV flashlight. It doesn’t look so terrible in the picture but in reality, it is so dirty. I have some cleaning to do. The lamp comes with 3 AAA battery. The lamp also comes with a battery sleeve if you want to use it with lithium battery (not included). Feel solid, good value, I highly recommend this product

Bought this to help identify where the cats may have been spraying. In places where I know they urinated a bit on carpet it showed nothing. So a big fail on the purpose I bought it for. However I’m giving it 4 stars, because it’s utility; slimness, brightness, modes, and efficiency as a flashlight for the price makes it an excellent replacement for the old bulkier one I regularly use when venturing into the crawl space.UPDATE: Less than a year into owning and very infrequent use I’ve noticed that the slightest bump to this flashlight now changes the mode it’s on. A real pain if you’re rolling around in a crawl space and having it go to black light mode by simply setting it down. I need to turn it off and wait for 5 seconds before turning it on again to “reset” it. Slightest touch to the button also causes the light modes to start looping. It used to be a solid medium touch that was hard to accidentally trigger the mode switch.

Questa torcia è molto luminosa, più di quanto mi aspettassi a questo prezzo. Inoltre è ben costruita e la qualità dei materiale si nota anche solo tenendola in mano o svitando il coperchio per cambiare le batterie che per quanto ho potuto constatare hanno una durata più che sufficiente anche alla massima luminosità. Intatti la torcia ha 3 modalità distinte che si selezionano ciclicamente accendendola e spegnendola ripetutamente; in ordine le modalità sono: massima luminosità, luminosità media, flash veloce a max luminosità e luce UV. La selezione delle modalità non è proprio il massimo della comodità ma fa il suo dovere senza intoppi.PRO:- durata batteria buona- luminosità eccellente- multifunzione- possibilità di variare l’ampiezza del cono luminoso- qualità costruttiva e dei materialiCONTRO (ma neanche tanto)- batteria non ricaricabile (funziona con 3 AAA oppure con una batteria al litio 18650 grazie ad un adattatore in plastica fornito nella confezione da inserire all’interno della torcia)PS.: Le batterie non ricaricabili potrebbero anche essere un vantaggio per chi fa lunghe escursioni e invece che caricarla preferisce sostituire al volo le batterie (e poi esistono sempre le AAA ricaricabili….ah e in questo caso non preoccupatevi se sono a 1.2V invece che 1.5V perchè l’elettronica interna è fatta bene e la luminosità non cala)Per favore vota la recensione se ti è stata utile o se ti ha chiarito qualche dubbio 😉

Terrible quality. Worked okay for the first week, and then when I tried to push the button to turn it on, the button went through the hole where it’s at. And then the on/off button stopped working all together.. not even worth emailing anyone about or trying to pay to ship it back, I just threw that piece of crap away!

Bought this light to detect pet stains at home. Almost immediately, the lens between the LEDs and the exterior lens came loose and rattles around the inside. It’ll cover the LEDs preventing brightness. I can’t figure out how to get into the light to fix it myself. If the lens can be gently shaken into place, the light works pretty well. This light hasn’t been dropped or anything and has seen minimal use. For the price? Sure it’s ok, but would probably seek a different manufacturer if I were to buy again.

La compre después de leer los comentarios porque me hacia falta para automoción y ya de paso para el trabajo, que aunque tenemos una bastante potente, hay que compartirla y a veces no está mal tener la tuya propia, en cuanto a luz UV se refiere. Una vez probada puedo decir que si vuestro uso es para la mencionada luz, olvidaros de ello, para que resulté algo efectiva tendréis que utilizarla de noche ya que con algo de luz es casi imposible aunque estéis dentro de un recinto con poca luz y la distancia tendrá que ser como mucho a unos 5 cm ya que si la alejas mucho no se verá bien la fluorescencia, como por ejemplo si es para buscar una pérdida en un motor y se encuentra en la parte baja os costará ver. El problema radica en que además de tener poca potencia en UV, al ampliar el zoom ya es casi imposible el visionario. Estoy acostumbrado a utilizar este tipo de luz en el trabajo casi a diario y se de lo que hablo. Para luz normal, esta bien, tiene potencia y alumbra mejor que algunas que tengo de la marca duracell de igual tamaño que me costaron más o menos lo mismo. El material es aluminio y el acabado está bien, no es nada exquisito pero por el precio está bien. Si la adquirís como luz ultravioleta buscar algo mejor, aunque tengáis que gastar más. No la devolveré por el precio y porque me servirá para pequeñas cosas y para usar la luz normal. El envío en Amazon un 10.

I bought one after reading the reviews and when I got it I tried to use it for cat urine and it showed it a little bit and my daughter wanted one so I ordered her one that one arrived today and it is much brighter and the UV works much better I thought maybe the first one had low batteries and I switched the battery packs and it did not make a difference. Also I was trying to figure out how to remove the top lens because I can see hair underneath it and not sure how that got there. Also used the UV on the other flashlight and stuff started glowing I am not sure what was on there but cleaned them very well.

I just got this lamp an hour ago, so I can’t attest to its longevity or durability, but it’s morning and despite the bright sun in the kitchen, I can still see marking show up on the cupboards under the uv light. It definitely works far better in a darkened room, where all the “organic matter” shines brightly under the light. But so does dust, fluo items, glued/resins, etc – so not everything is a disgusting germ-covered mess…but so many things are. The other functions on this little flashlight (white light, strobe) are very bright as well, seems like a great little lamp for any use, although I’ll be keeping mine with my cleaning supplies!!

Ok this was seriously the coolest thing by far that I bought on Amazon. My daughters had a lot of fun with it as well.There are three different modes for the normal white flashlight function and believe me, the light is SO bright. Perfect for camping. You can also turn the ring around the flashlight and it’ll actually send the light farther off, or make the beam close-up and large. So neat.The coolest part though, was the UV light. Don’t shine it into your eyes as it can kill your sight. My daughters and I had a fun time using it on our Canadian passport – special designs in the background pop up when you shine the UV light on it. As well, shine it in the garage to find puddles of oil or random things on the floor. Very neat.

I purchased it for the UV light but find myself using this flashlight for multiple purposes. It is very well made and sturdy. I’ve used it at night to check my tires, look under the hood, make small repairs at home in dark areas, etc. I plan to purchase a couple more. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I use it to dry my uv reactive glue as well as conformal coating that is uvreactive. The flashlight is an added bonus. VERY bright and the focus feature is a nice thing to have. I’ve applied alot of the coating to the bottom of my drone to protect the leds but as a bonus if looking for it in the dark the uv light makes it pop out and easy to find. Awesome buy, would suggest investing in a couple quality 18650 batteries as it will eat up the aaa batteries.One last thing. Durability, this thing is a tank my kids have some kind of flashlight addiction and they always steal and drop them. This ones lived through thick and thin I’ve had it for a couple months now.

Está bien de tamaño (unos 13 cms), la luz es potente en la máxima intensidad y el foco se abre y cierra estirando la linterna 1,5cms. Para lo pequeña que es alumbra muy bien con un solo Led.Tiene 4 modos, luz intensa, menos intensa, parpadeo y azul. Y no me gusta que sean correlativos y haya que apagar y encender para ir poniéndolos, me parece incómodo y hubiera sido mejor un conmutador independiente. Y echo de menos un imán para dejarla fija, que en el coche es muy útil.La luz azul me parece una chulada, en la oscuridad he visto que en una maceta tenia bichitos pequeñitos que con luz normal no veía y los he fumigado.Una buena compra que resulta útil en casa, en el coche y en cualquier situación.

The flashlight is very cheaply made and looks very flimsy and cheap. The beam is not perfect but zoom feature is pretty cool. If you use 18650 cell then you need to put a plastic sleeve on it (which comes with the flashlight) and that thing rattles inside. The flashlight bezel doesn’t even have a rubber washer so it’s not waterproof. I bought this flashlight only because I need UV light for some electronics repairing. If you need a good long-lasting flashlight I don’t recommend this one. But if you need a cheap one with UV then it’s pretty good deal.

Comprata per curiosità ma ingolosito dal prezzo .Molto sorpreso dal materiale del prodotto. Ottime le rifiniture, tasto accensione morbido e scocca rigida e robusta (fidatevi mi è caduta già tante volte perché per pigrizia non uso il laccetto fornito). Sia per casa, escursioni o luce UV per risolvere efferati omicidi è incredibilmente efficace.

I bought this primarily for the UV usage and the white light was an added plus.It has a good wide beam, but when focusing all the way in the shape of the light is square (both white and UV).Higher quality UV lights make use of a round chip to keep the shape but this does not effect the usefulness for me at longer ranges or tighter spots.Also at full wide you can see a slight green glow at the edge of the light beam and this is due to the construction using a UV reactive glue to secure the lens, but again does not effect the usefulness for me.The biggest disadvantage that I see is that since there must be two LED chips used for UV and white, the lens is not optimized to correct for this so at near to full to full focus you can clearly see that the light does not project straight out from the light but is offset by about 5 degrees.All in all for the price, this light cannot be beat and is a great purchase. If more precision or cleaner light is needed you will need to spend more money to get what you want.

Una delle migliori torce che ho preso qui su amazon, come mote altre ha la funzione alta potenza, bassa e lampeggiante (per spaventare animali o segnalazione) ma la funzione in più sono i raggi uv, sono molto utili. Segnalo solo che per poter utilizzare uv bisogna fare buio nella stanza, non pensiate di poterli utilizzare alla luce del giorno o con la luce della stanza accesa.

C’EST UN SUPER ACHAT QUE JE RECOMMANDE !!!!Complètement d’infos : Après l’avoir utilisée pour faire sécher de la resine UV, je peux enfin dire qu’elle fonctionne parfaitement bien pour cette application !!!
