Keep your battery runs well:

Replaced my old IRobot battery and it runs like new. The side sweeper did not function was well, as i was unable to get the screw to seat well. I went back to my old side sweeper and it works great. It took about 24 hours to fully charge the battery. IRobot flies through the house, under beds. It’s like new, even though it was purchased in 2010.

These are just as good as factory batteries. I am still getting around 90 minutes of run time after 16 months of use on the latest battery. They are also a lot less money than iRobot batteries.Take out 4 screws and pop the bottom plastic piece and insert the new battery. Easy replacement.My 551 Roomba has been going strong for over 10 years with the original factory battery and 2 of these Morpilot batteries.

Replacing the run-down battery in my old Roomba 530 with this one made a HUGE difference in run times and power. Ni-MH batteries like these simply need replacing after some time in service.As far as I can tell, this battery works as well as the original did when new, and you can almost get four of these for the price of one of those available directly from Roomba. They don’t even readily disclose the mAh rating for their “Xlife” battery — but after some searching, I found that theirs is only 3000 mAh, while this one boasts 3800. It’s a no brainer!

We inherited a Roomba from our daughter, but it didn’t work so I found on the internet that some people had this problem when the thing was switched off for a while. I ordered a new battery. It now works really well and seems to last a long time. I don’t know the longevity of the battery since we just got it new.The local store wanted 3x for the same battery so this is a great deal. The brushes are super easy to replace and it’s nice that the battery comes with extras. it also comes with a little plastic tool that I have no idea what to do with, but … I digress.

The test of any battery is how long it lasts. Although I have only started using this battery replacement, it seems every bit as good as the original Roomba and the cost is far less than Roomba. It also has a higher Mah rating which means the battery has more power than Roomba or even batteries other Amazon sellers offer.I’m extremely happy with the performance of this battery and especially the cost offered by Morpilot. Our Roomba is many years old and as long as we can change the battery, I think it may last forever. This is the 2nd time that we have changed the battery in maybe 10 years? It took a dead Roomba and made it new again. If you keep it clean and keep the parts working, they can last a really long time. This battery is performing perfectly.

Let’s start with delivery, got a notice would not arrive till the 18th, wrong ,arrived on the 11th! Charged it over night, programmed it too. First day ran for 70 minutes, an improvement of 25 minutes over the original. Next day , 90 minutes, and last time I checked it was 140 minutes! So glad to have Robo picking up all the dog hair again. So glad I pulled the trigger on this battery. Will definitely order again from these guys.

Was just as described. Easy to install. Our roomba has run once a day for about an hour each time ever since I installed. I had no error messages and the battery is sufficiently strong enough to run roomba well. The brushes that come with it are a little flimsy, but I didn’t buy for the brushes. The battery is a good product for the price.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering a battery that wasn’t from the maker of the Roomba, but it took the original battery out and slipped this in and it worked great. It is much better price than the ones with the Roomba name.

Okay, so I originally bought the “yellow” battery which is apparently not a long life battery. I didn’t know this and it only came with a 6 month warranty. Thankfully, at month 5, this battery started to fail and Morpilot not only honored the warranty, they sent the long life battery free of charge just to resolve the issue for me. The long life battery seems to be worth it. It seems to be working as well as the OEM battery and it’s definitely working better than the Morpilot yellow battery did even when it was new.In short – don’t expect the cheaper yellow battery to last more than 6 months. I fully expect this blue “long life” battery to last me 2-3 years like the OEM battery did.

Replacement Roomba battery works great so far. Original battery ran vacuum for about an hour and a half, new battery is running it for two hours and forty five minutes. So about one third better. Also it was really easy to replace. It took literally only five minutes most of which was cleaning the vacuum off. I am very happy with this product, great quality, shipped fast – two days, and it worked liked advertised.

Based on several weeks of satisfaction, I have decided it merits 5 stars.Update – Oct 23, 2015 – I do believe that my Roomba is running longer than it did even when new with this new battery. I don’t have any hard evidence, ie: timing, but my general impression is that it is lasting longer.

I purchased the Morpilot 3800mAh Ni-MH battery as a replacement battery for Roomba model 531, which was down to operating 10 minutes before needing another charge using the original iRobot battery. At best, the original iRobot battery only lasted 45 minutes before needing another charge. After installing the Morpilot replacement battery, my old 531 runs for at least an hour before needing to be recharged. I just couldn’t be more pleased!! Great product.

On the other hand, I hope others will avoid my mistake and pay a few dollars more and purchase this replacement battery instead.This replacement battery is really easy to install – turn the Roomba upside down, remove the four main screws holding the base and remove the screw holding the sweeper brush in place. Take the base off, pull out the old battery and pop in the new. Replace everything you did in the same exact order – including the time to locate a smaller Phillips head screwdriver and put it back up, it took me less than five minutes. You do need to charge the new battery up overnight before you use the Roomba. Once it has recharged, you’re back to an almost new machine in terms of run time.

Works very well! I was worried that NiMH battery would not work on my old Roomba. Of course the engineers designed the Roomba to use and charge NiCd, NiMH, and LiON batteries. We have almost 3 hours of use and would expect much longer use out of a LiON battery. Very happy! A note, we had a lot of corrosion on the – terminal of our Roomba from years of disuse. I had to sand a good deal on the Roomba’s terminal to get conductivity. I had to use a little bit of copper anti-seeze compound to enhance the conductivity to remove the error code 3 that wouldn’t go away. Works like a champ now!

This one lasts for well over an hour and costs a third of the Roomba brand battery or the Rayovac brand that Batteries Plus store was selling. This fit my 650 perfectly. My Roomba was running for about 20 minutes before needing to be recharged and now it will clean for 1 hr and 30 minutes at a time! I didn’t realize how much sand was building up in our carpets. I’ve run it 3 days in a row now and was amazed at the amount of sand from both of the first 2 days. It picked up a small amount of sand today, similar to what I had thought was a biweekly buildup. The carpets should last longer with less sand grating on the fibers! This is actually my second purchase. The first one was for my in-laws’ 561 and it also fit perfectly and performed about the same as this one although I haven’t timed that one.

My Roomba was only running for approx 30 minutes or less before needing a recharge. Since it was over 6 years old, I replaced it with this battery and I haven’t found its run-time limit yet. Runs as long as I want (usually around 90 minutes). The installation was simple too. Four screws and presto, ready to charge and go.

Arrived looked exactly same as original. Swapped out batteries & charged for approximately 2 days. First scheduled run I could immediately tell a difference. Increases power, the Roomba was faster (not like in a dangerous way but in an acceptable positive way), battery life was a lot longer than the original as well (about twice as long). Things are great my vacuum works again & better than it did originally. This battery lasts longer, charges quicker, is more powerful, less expensive, so if it lasts as long as original this is a clear winner especially w/ the extra cleaning brushes & comb. So far so good. I run it on schedule & have moved it to every other day skipping weekend in hopes of prolonging battery since all the batteries for these Roomba’s say they only have so many charges in them. And I’m also letting it run itself out vs run & return to charge station. I read that the battery works more efficiently if it is full discharged between charging vs the sit n charge mode so we’ll see.

I have been avoiding using my rumba for about a year now. It would die after 15 minutes. I purchased this battery fir a fraction of the price that iRobot wanted to charge me! And it works great!!! Make sure to read the instructions- the first few times you’re supposed to completely drain the battery before charging

12/31/2017 ordered a replacement battery for my roomba. It is really old. I was not sure if I should invest in purchasing a new battery for. Some of the reviews were questionable. But I have 2 dogs that shed A LOT, and it’s really difficult to keep up with it just with me doing the work. My old battery had gotten to where it would only work for about 15 minutes. Yeah, pointless. So I decided to go for it afterall. So far that joker works like a champ. My house is over 2000 sqft. and it does the whole house on one charge! So far so good!

I got this battery as a replacement battery for my Rumba 650. The process for taking out the old battery and replacing it with this new battery was quick and easy. My Rumba is running better than new with the new battery. The capacity of the new battery is actually higher than the one that came with my Rumba. With the old battery, my Rumba had difficulty getting back to the charger base before dying somewhere in the middle of my house. With the new battery, my Rumba easily clean my entire house and dock itself with plenty of juice remaining.

Our Roomba 630 is a few years old. It had gotten to the point that it worked for about 20 minutes and would just die on the floor somewhere without even trying to redock. After replacing with this battery its back to its old self and it can dock again too. Took about 5 minutes to install with just a screw driver.

I have a Rumba 870. Precise fit very easy to install only 2 screws. There is no doubt that the operating time of the vacuum cleaner has lengthened and now it completes all the cleaning. In the meantime everything is fine the question of how long it will take for the battery to get tired, only time will tell.

The battery lasts a really long time. In fact it’s almost annoying given that the original was down to about 15 minutes when I finally replaced it. I knew it was a larger battery, so it wouldn’t be fair to take away a star because the battery lasts too long!There are no instructions, but it’s very straightforward to replace the battery. It’s just a fewscrews, no plugs or anything. When you have it opened up, this is a good time to thoroughly clean out your Roomba. The battery life will be much better if the motors aren’t clogged up with dust.

This battery lasts longer, charges quicker, is more powerful, less expensive, so if it lasts as long as original this is a clear winner especially w/ the extra cleaning brushes & comb. So far so good. I run it on schedule & have moved it to every other day skipping weekend in hopes of prolonging battery since all the batteries for these Roomba’s say they only have so many charges in them. And I’m also letting it run itself out vs run & return to charge station. I read that the battery works more efficiently if it is full discharged between charging vs the sit n charge mode so we’ll see.

Works great on Roomba 780. After owning my roomba for 3 years, the original battery would only last about 10 minutes. This one lasts for well over an hour and costs a third of the Roomba brand battery or the Rayovac brand that Batteries Plus store was selling. Looks identical in size/shape to the Roomba brand battery. Highly recommended…

Morpilot 3800mAh Ni-MH Battery for Roomba – Great value for a standard range Roomba battery. This one’s going into an older 560. Did have an issue with it not wanting to accept a charge when first installed (using both the plug-in charger and Home Base), but followed Roomba’s reset procedure and that did the trick (this is the fourth battery I’ve installed in this robot and the first time I’ve had to use the reset procedure).

Our Roomba is many years old and as long as we can change the battery, I think it may last forever. This is the 2nd time that we have changed the battery in maybe 10 years? It took a dead Roomba and made it new again. If you keep it clean and keep the parts working, they can last a really long time. This battery is performing perfectly.

Our Roomba 630 is a few years old. It had gotten to the point that it worked for about 20 minutes and would just die on the floor somewhere without even trying to redock. After replacing with this battery its back to its old self and it can dock again too. Took about 5 minutes to install with just a screw driver.

Okay, so I originally bought the “yellow” battery which is apparently not a long life battery. I didn’t know this and it only came with a 6 month warranty. Thankfully, at month 5, this battery started to fail and Morpilot not only honored the warranty, they sent the long life battery free of charge just to resolve the issue for me. The long life battery seems to be worth it. It seems to be working as well as the OEM battery and it’s definitely working better than the Morpilot yellow battery did even when it was new.In short – don’t expect the cheaper yellow battery to last more than 6 months. I fully expect this blue “long life” battery to last me 2-3 years like the OEM battery did.

This fit my 650 perfectly. My Roomba was running for about 20 minutes before needing to be recharged and now it will clean for 1 hr and 30 minutes at a time! I didn’t realize how much sand was building up in our carpets. I’ve run it 3 days in a row now and was amazed at the amount of sand from both of the first 2 days. It picked up a small amount of sand today, similar to what I had thought was a biweekly buildup. The carpets should last longer with less sand grating on the fibers! This is actually my second purchase. The first one was for my in-laws’ 561 and it also fit perfectly and performed about the same as this one although I haven’t timed that one.

I have a two-year-old Roomba 960 that had lost battery life to the point it would only run for 35 minutes per charge. The cost for iRobot branded batteries was double the price of this item so I gave it a shot. The battery was a direct replacement and swapping out the batteries takes a phillips-head screwdriver and about 30 seconds. I have gone from 35 minute to 90 minute run-time which I believe is as good or better than when the Roomba was new. The replacement brushes that come with the battery are a nice bonus; they will be a little deformed from being in a box but just leave them on the counter for a day or two and they will regain their shape. I will update this review in a few months to comment on battery life and long-term performance.

Replacing the run-down battery in my old Roomba 530 with this one made a HUGE difference in run times and power. Ni-MH batteries like these simply need replacing after some time in service.As far as I can tell, this battery works as well as the original did when new, and you can almost get four of these for the price of one of those available directly from Roomba. They don’t even readily disclose the mAh rating for their “Xlife” battery — but after some searching, I found that theirs is only 3000 mAh, while this one boasts 3800. It’s a no brainer!

12/31/2017 ordered a replacement battery for my roomba. It is really old. I was not sure if I should invest in purchasing a new battery for. Some of the reviews were questionable. But I have 2 dogs that shed A LOT, and it’s really difficult to keep up with it just with me doing the work. My old battery had gotten to where it would only work for about 15 minutes. Yeah, pointless. So I decided to go for it afterall. So far that joker works like a champ. My house is over 2000 sqft. and it does the whole house on one charge! So far so good!

I got this battery as a replacement battery for my Rumba 650. The process for taking out the old battery and replacing it with this new battery was quick and easy. My Rumba is running better than new with the new battery. The capacity of the new battery is actually higher than the one that came with my Rumba. With the old battery, my Rumba had difficulty getting back to the charger base before dying somewhere in the middle of my house. With the new battery, my Rumba easily clean my entire house and dock itself with plenty of juice remaining.

I have a Rumba 870. Precise fit very easy to install only 2 screws. There is no doubt that the operating time of the vacuum cleaner has lengthened and now it completes all the cleaning. In the meantime everything is fine the question of how long it will take for the battery to get tired, only time will tell.

I purchased the Morpilot 3800mAh Ni-MH battery as a replacement battery for Roomba model 531, which was down to operating 10 minutes before needing another charge using the original iRobot battery. At best, the original iRobot battery only lasted 45 minutes before needing another charge. After installing the Morpilot replacement battery, my old 531 runs for at least an hour before needing to be recharged. I just couldn’t be more pleased!! Great product.

Let’s start with delivery, got a notice would not arrive till the 18th, wrong ,arrived on the 11th! Charged it over night, programmed it too. First day ran for 70 minutes, an improvement of 25 minutes over the original. Next day , 90 minutes, and last time I checked it was 140 minutes! So glad to have Robo picking up all the dog hair again. So glad I pulled the trigger on this battery. Will definitely order again from these guys.

The battery lasts a really long time. In fact it’s almost annoying given that the original was down to about 15 minutes when I finally replaced it. I knew it was a larger battery, so it wouldn’t be fair to take away a star because the battery lasts too long!There are no instructions, but it’s very straightforward to replace the battery. It’s just a fewscrews, no plugs or anything. When you have it opened up, this is a good time to thoroughly clean out your Roomba. The battery life will be much better if the motors aren’t clogged up with dust.

My Roomba had reached the point that it was only cleaning for perhaps half an hour. This new battery was very easy to replace and worked with no problems, we are back to cleaning for a full cycle (1-2 hours). It’s also great that this comes with a new brush and filter, it is very easy to forget to replace the filter on your Roomba regularly, and it’s amazing what a difference a new filter can make!

My Roomba was only running for approx 30 minutes or less before needing a recharge. Since it was over 6 years old, I replaced it with this battery and I haven’t found its run-time limit yet. Runs as long as I want (usually around 90 minutes). The installation was simple too. Four screws and presto, ready to charge and go.
