I bought two of these to help with moving my cats across country – with stops into hotels, a move into an apt before the house is finished, etc. They are great! So much better than a typical carrier! I just put them in, bottom paws first and zip them up! They are sturdy and comfy – and have a few different ways to put them the carrier and get them out (honestly, I just put the carrier in the car, unzip the top and let them climb out).Only thing, learn from my mistake – there are zippers on the top and the sides – make sure everything is zipped up before you start carrying them! I was carrying my very large and heavy cat in the carrier over my shoulder and the other one like a purse – all of a sudden – the shoulder carrier became very light! I hadn’t zipped the side very well and Jack was able to claw open the side door a jump out (don’t worry – I was able to coax him out from under the car where he hid) – but once I learned my lesson – haven’t had that issue again.

Overall, my cat still doesn’t like to leave the house. Let’s face it, most cats aren’t going to be happy no matter what you put them in when you take them away from what they know and love. Especially when it’s to the vet. And my cat is no different, but I do think it does make enough difference that I’m happy I bought it. I had one of those large plastic carriers that are heavy even without the cat in them. It’s bulky and cumbersome and the holes in the side are big enough for me to see the terror in my cat’s eyes, but not much else, so I can only imagine that they weren’t helpful to my cat. This carrier is a bit smaller than the plastic carrier I had, but the mesh on all 4 sides and the top gives him a lot more to look at. I wasn’t sure if that would be a good thing or not, but I think, in his case at least, that it helps. I think the smaller size can also be comforting – but I can only guess from his body language and meows what he actually thinks about it. Mostly he just would rather not. But for me, it’s far easier to carry, fits better on my car seat, easier to put the seat belt around and makes me feel better when I can see him. All the zippers are handy too so you can put him in or out in whichever way is easiest. I wish the bottom were a little sturdier, but it’s not really bad. All in all, glad I bought it since lately we’ve been going to the vet a lot.

Not sure if it would work on a plane as we haven’t tried it. Would have to research requirements. Because it’s soft, probably would go under a seat. What we like is the build, separate pad and double entry points. Let’s face it, no cat likes a carrier but our 11 pound cat can get comfortable in this one quickly. I recommend it and would buy again.

Such a good buy. My cat is 14 pounds (we’re working on it) and she fits in this perfectly fine. She’s comfortable enough to just walk right in and lay down. I use the slit in back to buckle her into the car. It’s comfortable to carry even with my cat’s size and we’ve had no issues. If we are standing still (waiting room at vet) my cat is more comfortable if I set the carrier on the floor instead of being slung over my shoulder, but we both still like the bag. Plus it’s cute 😉

So my cats grew and needed a better and bigger carrier, as our bigger cat outgrew the one we bought before (different brand). So after a LOOOOOT of research on cat carriers, we gave this one a try, and good thing, because not too long after both cats ended up needing vet trips. Not only is it the perfect size for them to stand and move around but still feel safe and secure, but I think it has good airflow while still being warm in winter months. It came with a sort of plastic/new seatbelt smell (maybe I’m the only one who notices, I don’t know), but thankfully, our cats don’t seem to mind. They also can’t seem to tear it open (so far, knock on wood) and can’t unzip it themselves, but do make sure the zippers are fully zipped! It is very sturdy, and stays standing on its own. Now here’s the best part. One of our cats is pretty outgoing, the other is very wary and shy at times. Neither have an issue being put into the carrier, and in fact, even after a day’s stay at the vet for a UTI, my wary/shy cat STILL likes to get into the carrier and sleep! If I can’t find her, I look in it and there she usually is, just hanging out, looking like I just woke her from a nap! She’s used it so much that she’s already flattened out the little bed that comes on the bottom. I might need to wash and fluff up it’s cover soon at this rate!So tl;dr:Even my shy cat loves it. Great size and great quality. Holds up to angry cats headed to the vet. 5/5 Probably gonna buy a second one!

I bought this carrier to transport my cat on a plane. The height and size of the carrier was perfect for my 11 lb cat that has long legs. He was able to stand up straight inside the carrier. The bottom of the carrier was not firm, so when my cat was in it without extra support, the bottom was not flat. The cushion is fluffy but not squishy, an extra blanket did the trick. The sides of the carrier is soft, so it was perfect to bend the top for it to fit under the airplane seat. The water/food holder is a bonus. I would recommend this carrier for traveling on a plane. Although the size is bigger than what the airlines posted on their website, since it’s soft it adjusted easily. I had no problem with Southwest!

Tried all kinds of calming treats, ThunderShirt, etc. to help our rescue dog get used to the car, but none worked. This crate was like a miracle for us! Tucked him between our daughters’ seats and never heard a peep from him for the entire 6 hour drive! My guess is that being enclosed on the floor kept him from seeing the movement and he just fell asleep. So excited to be able to take him on all of our trips now!

My cat’s vet is about a 20 minute walk from our house, so I really wanted to get a carrier that would be easy to sling over my shoulder and take her over. She’s a bit skidish with loud noises though, so I definitely wanted something sturdy that she couldn’t rip through. This carrier works so well for both of these! The carrier is very sturdy and holds upright nicely. The mesh is thick and doesn’t seem like it can easily be ripped (though my cat got her claw stuck in it twice while looking out). The base that you put in has soft fabric on it, but it is very firm so I put a blanket in to make it a little bit comfier for her. She loved that she could easily see out all sides and could see me from the top. There are 3 zipper openings for your pet to come out from, 2 on each side and one on top. The zippers seem very sturdy, but I may tie the zipper clasps together on 2 of the sides just to be super safe. Finally, it was so easy to carry on my shoulder, and it also has a carrying handle. It didn’t seem to jostle around too much on my shoulder either, which I was very pleased with. Overall, definitely happy I purchased this carrier! It’s already making it much easier to go to the vet, and my cat loves that she can see so much more!

Bought it for a small breed puppy so he could sleep in my room at night without having to carry his metal crate upstairs. It was cozy but allowed him to see out and me to know that he was not wandering around while we were sleeping. Also, worked great to take him in the car. Because he was used to sleeping in it he felt comfortable and at ease in the car, no anxiety. Puppy grew larger than anticipated so I bought the next size up as I was so happy with the first one!

I really like this product and it fits my kitten with lots of room, if he grows up to be average size it should still work but I wouldn’t recommend for a bigger cat. The quality is great and I have no problems with the product but my cat loathes being in it and screams the whole time so I avoid using it unless it’s necessary. I can say that it is very durable because he has put it to the test by scratching and biting it from the inside as much as possible and there’s no damage. He is only a few months old but he’s able to rip blankets and can’t rip this. One thing is it is not stiff at all so when you carry it by the handles the sides bend and it has trouble standing up on its own if one side is unzipped, however I use it as his car seat since it can be buckled in and I’m glad it’s soft and bendy because in a crash I wouldn’t want him slamming against hard plastic, so 5/5 stars! Also the bowl that comes with is as described and pictured but I don’t use it because some cats have plastic allergies and I’m not sure what it’s made out of.

Fantastic travel carrier for cat or very small dog. Love the material; it’s heavy-duty so will be able to withstand some scratching and general wear, and is easily wiped clean. The bed is removable and washable. My cat has chosen to use it daily as a house, but it’s a little floppy without both sides zipped. This is easily fixed with a small prop like a chopstick or straw. The bottom is nice and rigid so it will not fold in on itself like a duffle bag when you lift your pet. Cute and stylish a big plus! Love the leather details on the handle.

This carrier looks like it will last a very long time. I got it to bring home a new Chihuahua puppy. It looks way too large for a tiny dog, however, I’m sure it will be comfortable for her as she grows. I plan on using it as a crate alternative when not transporting her. It’s well made and I really like the “bed” inside it! All in all, my only complaint would be that there is no color selection available.

I’d originally had a different, more expensive travel carrier in my cart, but it wouldn’t arrive by the date needed. After reading reviews, I went with this as a second choice and am very glad I did. This carrier is great. I got it for my new addition to travel home for a 7+hour road trip. For the time she was in it, it worked great. There was more than enough room for have a pee pad on one side for potty breaks and the soft bed included made for a nice nap area. The velcro to keep bed attached is secure and sturdy. I like that there is a tether to attach to collar when she gets bigger, to ensure she couldn’t jump out during travel. The zippers and handles are very sturdy, I feel confident that my fur babe would be safe being carried using either hand or shoulder straps. Another plus for me is the seat belt loops to keep the carrier secure during travel. The mesh hasn’t snagged or torn (after the first week, anyway) from her trying to get out. She has plenty of space to sit and watch what’s happening outside. This has been the go-to “safe place ” for my yorkiepoo baby as she adjusts to being in her new home with us.It is spacious and roomy, more than enough room to use to take a cat to vet or my chihuahua as well. The collapsible bowl included is also a nice addition. It comes with a carabiner for easy on the go travel. This is a great quality bag, much easier to manage than the hard carriers. My pup has become very comfortable in it. All in all a great buy. Would recommend to others.I didn’t give 5 stars only because without the included bed, there is no bottom support. It’s soft-sided all around, so any replacement bed would need to have a hard bottom.

This carrier attaches to a car seatbelt. It doesn’t advertise that well enough. The shoulder strap goes over the seat headrest, and there are two clips that attaches to a buckled seatbelt. I was picking up a puppy for a 10 hour drive home and an overnight stay at a hotel, and this was amazing to have. It also attaches to a hard case suitcase, which is great if you’re rolling the suitcase into a room, carrying a puppy in a carrier and trying to check in. The bed inside is removable and I put it in my puppies crate, so she has been able to use the same bed and she doesn’t need to get used to another scent.

Love this carrier! So versatile: can be used while traveling in a car (straps for hooking up to your car’s seat belts) or air flight. And the just the right size water bowl. As my puppy grows, I will definitely buy the next size up.

I bought one of these to see how my cats would like it because we had some of the older hard side cages for traveling to the vet. We only had two and we have four cats so I thought I’d try this. As soon as we put it together which takes about 10 seconds, my cats my two younger cats started fighting over who got to go in and sleep in it. Usually cats freak out trying to get into a cage to go to the vet but we actually have to leave these out now for our cats to lay in. Getting them in these to go to the vet is the easiest we’ve ever encountered. Even my 20 lb cat fits in it just enough room but he loves it. The other one is 12 lb and has tons of room. I bought the biggest one. Twice.

Looking at all the other reviews of cat carriers, all the recommendations were for a smaller sized carrier for my 10lb cat. After ordering two of the wrong size, this one fits my cat perfectly. He has enough room to turn around and lay down, and it seems pretty comfy for him inside. Obviously no cat likes to travel in a carrier to the vet, but us humans really like this carrier. Dimensions are exactly what is listed.

My senior kitty absolutely hates his old, hard plastic carrier & getting him into it is a nightmare. I used to only take him to the vet about once a year so I didn’t feel the need to get a different carrier. Now he’s had to go more often & every time I had to put him in the old carrier it left us both upset & frustrated with each other. Now with this carrier it’s so much easier to get in him & out & he is obviously much more comfortable. He’s still not a fan of being confined of course, but it is now a much less stressful experience for us at least. The carrier feels high quality & sturdy. The zippers are sturdy & the straps are comfortable to hold. The bed inside is washable & makes traveling much more comfortable for my cat. I highly recommend this carrier for anyone with a cat or small dog. It’s so much better than those hard plastic ones.

They are making the planes smaller and I had difficulty flying with Delta because the carrier bag according to them was too big but because I was able to squeeze it in. Just be mindful of this but the carrier is great. It comes with a little container to give the dog water or food. Also, my dog had space to relax.

Incredible quality for the price. Perfect for general use and I was very impressed with the materials and construction, including the pad. Only problem is it is questionable for flying due to the height and the rigid construction making it difficult to squish for the ticket agent. Had to buy a different one for Alaska Air but highly recommended for everything but air travel.

I had to squish it down to get it under the seat. Probably about 20% of the height. My dog is 10 lbs, this probably wouldn’t work for a larger small dog. The dog would get smooshed or have no room to move around. I like the luggage strap, but the bag is not sturdy on luggage, I had to rig the straps to keep it from laying on a huge angle. The bottom is not stiff enough to hold the dog flat.It was easy to remove and wash the bed. I like that I can fold it up for storage. I do like this bag and will continue to use it.

I love this thing, and so does my cat. First of all, by just touching and feeling this you can tell the material is high quality. It has some nice pockets, a comfortable to hold strap, a really comfy bed inside (that can be washed!) and a board to keep the beds shape inside, that you can remove via zipper to put the bed into your washing machine. I also really appreciate the collapsible bowl that comes with this. I keep this on my floor and my cat likes to just hang out in it during the day sometimes and nap, which makes her more relaxed towards it when I have to put her in it for travel. It has a top-loading feature, so you can put your kitty in this either from the top, or the front side. The top is great for unzipping so your kitty can stick their head out in the car for pets or treats. All of the fabric, other than the washable bed, seems waterproof. Overall, I’m very happy I bought this bed- and it is leagues above the hard plastic kennel I had for her before. I think this is an awesome option for kitties or small dogs (or any other small creatures you may be transporting). I’m happy knowing my cat, Pumpkin, is comfortable in there.

Absolutely love it! My cat gets terrible anxiety when riding in a car, so she ends up pacing around in any kind of carrier, which usually ends up in her flipping cloth carriers over on herself or tipping hard carriers over and hurting herself. And it’s always a chore to fight her into one. She loved this carrier though! With the top opening, it was really easy to get her in and out of it. The bed fits snuggly in the bottom, and the strap to attach it to the car’s seat makes it nice and secure, paired with flexible but sturdy sides, makes it so her pacing can’t tip over the cage and she can’t hurt herself. The cloth is comfortable and breathable for her. The bed inside seemed really comfy for her as well, so she didn’t mind laying on it when she calmed down, and it seemed to help her calm down quicker too. It is really easy to transport too.

This is a fine, sturdy little carrier for my Jack Tzu. It is very well made, good quality craftsmanship, and includes a strap to convert it to an over-the-shoulder vehicle for your pet, as well as a portable bowl and washable, soft mat. A leather handle is a plus. I am so pleased I took to heart the rave reviews for this product. Wary of items made in China, I took a chance on this, and hit the jackpot. I hope others do the same, and that the quality remains consistent.

Got a new yorkie and needed a way to take her safely in the car. We’ve only been out once but so far so good. She wasn’t thrilled, but she doesn’t like her kennel at home either. She’s just about 3lbs and the fit is perfect, seems sturdy enough for our needs.

Perfect little kit for traveling with your pet. I use it quite often for my small service dog. Great for airlines. He does not mind being in it at all. Also has a nice strap so you can sit on top of your suitcase while you are wheeling through the airport. The little bowl is handy to. Great value for buying everything together.

I use this for transporting my 10 week old Westie puppy to the vet and trips in the car. He’s a tiny little guy at only 6 pounds so he has space to sprawl out in the bag. He sits and lays comfortably in there with a few toys. Carrying him in this is super easy and he always seems entertained looking out of the panels haha. The bag reminds me of a bowling bag with the option to carry it by the handles or the shoulder strap. I was hesitant to purchase this without feeling the material, but I’m so happy I did. Highly recommend!

This was my second travel bag I purchased. The first one was a bit tight for my chubby dog so I returned for this size and it’s perfect. Plenty comfortable for Fido and airline approved. I especially love the way the bag slides overhead pull handle on my luggage.makes for an easy way through the airport.

Literally unpacked it 5 minutes ago and the kitties are already loving it, jumping in and out and just hanging around inside. Seems very sturdy—they’ve already started scratching it up with their sharp little kitty claws and no marks yet. They’re strong biters and scratchers so I’ll come back and update if that changes. It came quickly, and had a faint plastic smell, but as you can see, that didn’t deter the babies. I’ve picked it up and carried it around the house and it’s sturdy enough that they’re not afraid. I love the three openings. This is well made. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid purchase!

It’s a good carrier and fits my 13 lb cat. He’s never been in longer for more than 30 min at a time so cant comment on long travels however the side pocket is useful for treats. There’s a pocket to fix it to your carry on if traveling via plane and openings on both sides as well as the top makes its easy to put in even the squirmiest of fur babies. It comes with a small bed inside which is the correct size and it attaches to the floor of the carrier to fix it as a plus.

We are taking care of my grandmother and her dog while she has chemo. Granny has a yo-chon and I needed to smuggle it out of my apartment for a vet visit (I am NOT paying $400 for a pet deposit and $85/mo for pet fees so I’m being shady–don’t judge me). This has a comfortable strap and looks like a gym bag with pockets on each side. I was really impressed that it came with a little bowl and a removable & washable bed which has a removable waterproof inside for those “how are you this tiny with a bladder this big?!?” moments. LOTS of ventilation and really roomy for a 10lb 9in high fluffball.

My cat loves it so much she sleeps in it when it’s just sitting in my living room! My cat is 11 lbs and fits great. I especially love that my cat can’t rattle around in the carrier as I’m walking around with her, the flexibility of the carrier allows me to hold her securely to my side, but when it’s stationary she has plenty of room to turn around. I love the water bowl that is included!

I have 2 of these, one for each cat. They work great to transport them to the vet. You can get them in and out through either the top or the side. The cats find them comfortable. They’ll even take naps in them at home if I leave them open. The bottom is pretty sturdy. My cats are each about 13 lbs and these carriers hold up great. I also like the amount of ventilation; I think that’s important. The bottom isn’t super cushion-y but you could fold a towel or receiving blanket and tuck it under the cushion that’s in there, if your cat was going to be in there for a long time maybe. Mine don’t need it for the short vet visits. I think these are the best carriers I’ve ever owned.

We bought it to go to the vet. It has a nice fleece lining. Our cat loves it. He likes to jump in and out of it, in our living room. It seems soft and comfortable. Easy to carry. Not heavy, but sturdy. Lots of screen netting to see out of. Like a portable screened in porch. Nice and humane. It’s not like putting your pet in a cage or crate. But only to use to transport your pet.

I had to transport a Jack Russel Terrier on an airplane and this was the largest I could find. The dog was 14” tall at the shoulders. I was able to fit this under the seat of the airplane on its side, where the pup could lay down. I was very happy to find a carrier large enough for her, and am impressed with the quality. It even came with a bed/mat and folding water/food bowl, as seen in the picture. This carrier will also be useful when traveling to the vet. I definitely recommend this carrier, and you can’t beat the price! Pet stores want upwards of $100 or more, and for a less attractive and smaller product.

I love this cat carrier. It’s extra roomy – I was worried because when I went to the local shelter I didn’t know what size kitty would come home with me – and my girl is a very large kitty!! Plenty of room, well-made, nice fabric and cushy inside. The mesh is breathable (would cover with blanket in cold weather while walking to car) and it zips at top and ends for security/ease of putting the kitty in and letting them come out at their own pace. Nice strap for carrying, I prefer to hold from the bottom for extra security – and has a strap to attach to headrest in the car so it doesn’t slide while driving! Probably too large for airline travel (has to fit under the seat) but I didn’t purchase it for that use. It’s for transport locally/to vet, etc. and it’s great!
REBECCA Humphrey –
A bit taller than I expected, may be too tall for under a plane seat. But it’s great vibrant color, sturdy. A bit heavy when you add the animals weight if you plan to carry it for long periods. Great price with all of the accessories.. also, Great you can take out the fuzzy pad and wash it. The bag itself is easily cleaned by just wiping it down. It is versatile to strap into your car as well.
Ben D. –
Our cat hopped right in it when we introduced it to him. We put a cushion from his small bed in it, so it would smell familiar, and after that it’s been smooth sailing. He is a near 9 pound cat, and he fits with plenty of extra space. The interior leash hold is handy, as well as the three separate opening for loading/unloading. The included cushion could be a little more padded, but for the price the bad is great. Only things I would improve are the cushion, and making the front/back openings have a more rigid frame, so that it does not try to collapse while open. This is just to help leave the carrier out and let the animal get accustomed/comfortable with it.
