Worked really well. Purchased 2 of them. One battery died in about 7 months – the service was amazing and the manufacturer quickly sent a replacement. The other battery is running absolutely fine. Amazing value for money and amazing customer service!

This is the third battery I have tried, two of them in less than a year. Customer service is as bad as the batteries. I emailed customer service when I had issues with the first battery to file a warranty claim. They responded and said they would send a new one out. The new one never came and they never answered any other emails. I ordered a second one this year but that only worked a few times and is doing the same thing. Not worth the time or money.

My Botvac D80 was just out of warranty, and starting to behave oddly. After a week or so of that behavior, it wouldn’t work at all. Just beeped and gave the turn the battery switch off and on message. I figured I’d have to replace it, or send it in for repair. It sat like that for a couple of months, when, on a whim, I decided to see how hard/expensive it was to replace the battery. I was shocked at both how easy the battery is to replace (2 minute job), and how inexpensive it was. I popped the new battery in, went in to the menu and told it the battery was new, gave it a charge and am good to go again. Super cheap, and easy, fix. Saved me a ton in repair or replacement costs.

Another reviewer said a new battery fixed this problem so I purchased one. I installed it and selected “New Battery” from the Support menu. So far, so good. I ran it a few times until it docked itself, thus running the battery down as far as it would go. I think it’s good. I installed this battery into a Neato Model D75.-L

UPDATE (Sept. 2, 2018): I ordered this “new” battery, and selected 1-Day shipping. It arrived in under 24 hours. However, the retaining clip on the battery power connector is missing. The broken clip wasn’t inside the bag nor the box, so I assume it was either shipped that way from the factory (poor quality control) or this battery has been returned, repackaged and sold as “new” (scammers). If the battery connector falls out of the power socket during normal usage, or this battery doesn’t give 1.5 hours runtime, like my previous two batteries, it’ll be returned – probably ought to return it right now, actually. Caveat emptor. Very disappointed. Minus 1-star.I bought one of these batteries for my D80 in Nov. 2017 ($29.99 then). It lasted 9 months … same amount of time as the original OEM battery (from the factory), so I expected it to fail in 8-12 months … and, I judged correctly.Doing a little rough math, during 9 months of usage, plus multiple recharges during the break-in regimen, it probably lasted for 150-175 charges. But, that’s okay. These batteries are inexpensive, and it didn’t blow up and burn our house, like a cheap hoverboard. I’m happy enough with it and just ordered another one ($24.99 now).I figure it’s like putting gas in one’s car. Refilling once every 9 months is acceptable 🙂

So far it is as expected and works great in my botvac 65 I bought from Costco a a few years ago. the oem battery lasted just about 3 yrs. What I think killed the oem battery was , we moved and had to put the unit in storage for 5 months , so it sat dormant and lost it’s charge and would not come back to life. Now that we are in another home, it is up and running every couple of days on a schedule and no problems to report on this replacement as of yet. All is good. Will update if a problem and lower the rating if need be.

This was an easy replacement of the OEM battery. Cleans tile/laminate floors in a 1600 sf house recharging once. Remember to tell your botvac that it has a new battery.6 month update: Not charging after every cleaning

My Neato acts like it is brand new again. Replaced this battery about a year ago and it’s still going strong running daily. I would recommend.
Vicky –
It has been 3 weeks since I installed this battery in my Neato. It was easy to install and I followed the directions implicitly regarding the charging and discharging. It will clean for about an hour and a half and takes about an hour to recharge. That is almost as good as the length of cleaning time that I received from the factory battery. I was having some issues with my Neato identifying its location when it was ready to return to base, and the replacement of the battery solved this issue. So far, I am happy with a battery for the price. I will try to remember to update this review in 6 months to a year once I better understand the life of the battery.

I have used these batteries for 2 years. They only last a year. Almost on the dot. We use our nato 3 days a week. When we bought it. The stock battery lasted 3 years.

This was the most economical NiMH battery I could find for Botvac 80’s. I use the NiMH batteries for the smaller floors in the house. For larger floors (2,000 sq. ft.) I use the Lithium batteries because the NiMH batteries have to recharge more frequently and so don’t complete in a work day. If you observe the recommended protocol for installing these batteries (full discharge/recharge cycle for first three runs) then they last me about a year when run two or three times per week.

received a used Botvac 80 with a used battery. The botvac was throwing all kinds of errors even though in diag mode the used battery showed 60%. this new battery solved the botvac errors and runs the botvac for over 65 minutes. good price. what more can you ask for?

After only three months, suddenly the battery only lasts about 5 minutes per charge.Edit: I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a free replacement without hassle. I found that one of the batteries had gotten really hot, melted some plastic on its wrapping and the case of the robot. Raised from one star to three due for standing behind their product

This battery works great. I received it from Amazon, installed, and charged it, and it’s worked great every since. I’ve had the battery for a month and it does last longer than the original battery supplied with the unit. This is the second battery I’ve purchased. I purchased an oem battery form Best Buy ($50) last year and it last 6-month.For this price and the performance, this is the only battery I will purchase for my neato unit in the future.

I installed this battery right after I got it. Not my first rodeo with Neato battery changes. After it was installed, I went through the switching it off/on, then told the system it was a new battery. So, it charged completely and was ready to run on it’s set schedule. Came home from work, Neato was screaming that I needed to take out the dirt tank, flip the on/off switch and charge the battery. So I did. Every time for the past 3 weeks, the device won’t run without following this process. If I get too it and press the manual clean button, it will run once, go back to charge, then alert me to reset. I put the old battery back in and it works without having to reset anything. My guess is I got a bad battery. The battery i took out of it is a same brand as the one I put in. So, buyers beware. If you have any issues like the above, put the old battery back in, reset everything and see if all works the way it’s suppose to.

I have two Neato Botvac D80’s, and I was more than perturbed when in the same week each started showing signs of battery failure. After popping the cover on one (D80 #2), I pulled out the battery. It was a Neato original, 11 months old. That’s about how long my first Neato battery lasted in the other D80, which was replaced by the Morpilot. After popping the cover on D80 #1, I pulled out the Morpilot battery. I couldn’t remember how old it was, but I was thinking 6-9 months. That excited me a bit, because I thought I read that the warranty was 1 year, in which case I’d have myself a new battery at, worst case, the cost of shipping. After pulling up my Amazon account, I realized that it has been 2 full years since the Morpilot was installed. (My memory isn’t what it used to be.)The D80 in which this battery was used runs 2-3 times/week, covering about 2000 sq feet of carpet, tile, and hardwood. Doing some rough math, I figured this battery has been through 500-540 charge cycles. Two years, 500 charge cycles for less than 30 bucks? Yeah, I can deal with that. I am pleased.Note to those with a bad experience with batteries of this type: You MUST condition the battery per the instructions. If you don’t, in my experience the lifespan will be much shorter than the design intent.

I have been using this for 2 months now and love it. the original battery that came with Sir Neato (as we call him at our house) took 3 cycles to do our first floor. This battery takes less than 2, so it is done much more quickly. I have followed other reviews advice and have great hopes that this battery will last much longer than the original battery (11 months).

Purchased this battery for my Botvac, worked great at first, unfortunately it lasted less than 2 months. Description says it has a 12 month warranty but the seller I purchased from is no longer listed as a seller so I can not request warranty exchange. Guess I’m out $24.99. Not very happy

Gone through a number of batteries for Neato D-series vacuums. The Neato tend to last a year ÷/- 2 months. Trying this brand and after only 5 months it failing. Fully charged vacuum starts up and can’t continue because of low battery. If comparing, factor in that it will last half as long as the Neato original replacement.

Excellent replacement for my Botvac. Ours runs three times a week so it gets a lot of use. It could usually clean our 3K square foot house in three runs but we had noticed that some areas were not getting done. Then the dreaded “take out the bin and push the power switch” message began. That’s when I started looking for a new battery. So many to choose from! I chose this one based on the reviews and am very happy I did. First, it looks exactly like the original so popped right in. Now we are back to full house cleaning!

This battery pack worked fine in my Neato for a few months, but stopped working at all less than one year after I started using it. Very disappointing! I will probably go back to using a real Neato battery, as this appears to be a false economy.

This battery did not work for. I retuned first another one and that one did not work either. I bought another one from a different company that worked perfect.Easy return!

This is our second Morpilot battery for our Neato Botvac D80, which it fits just perfectly! As soon as my hubby did the battery reset it work like a charm again and it got rid of the annoying ‘flip the switch’ error message! Our Little helper is programmed to do his little thing downstairs (hardwood floors and some random rugs) twice a week (approx1000sqft?), and then probably once every two weeks, or so, he gets carried upstairs to some 400sqft of carpet (which is a real and much more af a bat. exercise/drainer)… The big drawback is that it was only 14 months since we last swapped batteries last time. Ill report back how it goes this time, if we only get a year and a bit out of a battery I’m considering swapping brand! I’ll keep sure posted!

The original battery stopped working and my Botvac would only greet me with something along the lines of “Please remove the dust bin and flip the switch down then up”. This instantly fixed that and the Botvac has been sucking up cheerios and dog hair, without hesitation, since.Remember to charge without use for 24hours after installation! That’s just good battery practice for this chemistry.

I bought this for my neato D85. I had it serviced about 6 months ago and everything was good to go, though they said I’d need a new battery in the next year. So I got this one when I noticed battery life start to decline. I don’t think this battery is very good; the vaccum can’t clean the downstairs without saying it needs to be charged. This was not the case before this battery. I don’t know if I got a bad one, or the battery itself isn’t enough to charge this Neato. But if you have a D85 you might want to look around.

We haven’t even had our Neato BotVac a full year, but started getting error messages so we decided to try replacing the battery. Our BotVac now works perfectly again. This battery looks exactly like the original battery, and the clip and fit was perfect. We bought this one because it states it’s 4000mAh and most of the replacements and the original were 3600 mAh. It does still have to go back to recharge before finishing the first floor most days, however we’ve had it about two weeks now and haven’t had any issues. I would say that it does seem to last longer than the original battery.

Battery seems to die quickly, and I really question the 4000mih designation given to the battery in the description. After 6 months the battery is basically dead, and I’m thinking I should have just spent the money and gotten the Neato Brand battery that lasts a year.
Albert Leigh –
This batter was purchased in mid may 2018, and started giving problems in the beginning of October. Neato d80 is giving messages like “please clear my path” and “dust me off so I can see”. These are related to batter not sustaining correct voltage. The unit acts confused, and keeps “dancing in circles” and running into the same wall repeatedly after about 45 minutes of run time.
Scot –
I recommend this, course it is the only aftermarket battery for my neato botvac I have used. Old battery died, as they do. Short run times, then error messages. put this in, and back to like new. Just be sure to ‘condition’ it the first few times. Go into vac menu and select ‘new battery’. Then the next 3 times you use it drain battery all the way down before recharging

well, after 3 months of use, the battery life is MUCH less than an original. It often does not make it back to the base when even the old original that had a greatly reduced cleaning time always made it back. This means the “real capacity” on these packs is much less than the original as well. I would recommend getting the real deal.Yes these are cheaper to buy, but from a value perspective, they are not worth it. All NiMh batteries are definitely NOT the same.

This is a great battery for the price. I used it to replace my aging Neato Botvac 85’s battery and it runs for close to an hour now. I just wish they made a compatible replacement for the newer models as well.
tomfazz –
Can’t speak to the total life, of course. But it has been a fine replacement for a few months now.
Chu –
Took a chance on this non OEM battery due to its pricepoint. Although it performed well initially, it only lasted 6 months while running once or twice a week on mostly hard tile floors with low pile area rugs. It needs to be replaced again, but this time- I’m gonna shop around and see if there might be anything available with warranty coverage.
Charles T. Beemer –
I bought this replacement battery after matching the picture and the specs to the original one in my Neato. I worked initially OK but gradually over 2-3 months it got more and more iffy with multiple battery problem error messages and it finally died, would not charge at all-guess when-about a week after the last date to return. Not again.
Natalie & Edan –
Product worked for about 8 months until the Neato started to give the empty dust bin message. Contacted seller for warranty replacement first response was quick offering partial refund or 40% off for replacement. However, after trying to contact again several times for replacement code did not receive any response. The battery will work for a period but probably not a year and replacement is a pain.

Hi, this is like the 3rd time I’m buying this battery. It really just last a year until the battery get’s annoying. For the price compare to the original, I guess it’s not bad. Not great either.

This was the third battery I’ve used in our Botvac. The first two were genuine batteries and each lasted about 13-14 months of heavy use. This one was about half the price so I decided to give it a shot. Due to moving this battery lasted about 12 months but was only really used for about 10 months and it was much lighter usage than the previous batteries had seen. So I would say that this battery was about 75% as good as a genuine battery at 50% the cost, which makes it a good value. The reason I’m not going with this again is because I’ve found genuine batteries are now selling for the same price so I am going back to them.
Jet –
We replace this every year. When the bot gets weird (it’s brain goes kinda wonky, battery shows full but it won’t vac anymore for more than a few minutes), we replace the battery and if fixes everything. It then works great for a year. We’ve had the botvac for over 3 years now. This fixes the problem everytime.

The price is decent. Battery life is ok. It’s not like a new Neato battery. Meaning it doesn’t hold a charge for as long as my original battery did when I first got my Neato. I thought I’d give this one a shot because of the price. It’s not terrible by any stretch but as they say you get what you pay for.
MirEgal –
My Neato robot vacuum is the best thing we ever purchased. With 3 dogs you can imagine the amount of dog hair we get on a daily basis. When my Neato began exhibiting the “Please open my dirt bin & push switch DOWN to ON” problem I googled it and found the solution was to replace the battery which made sense since I’ve been running my Neato daily for over 2 years. Once I got the battery and installed it all problems solved. The only issue (this is a design issue with the Neato) is that you really need a pair of needle nose pliers to properly install the battery connector.********************************************************************Am lowering my review to 2 stars as the battery lasted only about 10 months as compared to my original OEM battery which lasted more than 2 years.

This battery was great at first. Cleaned the entire floor before the vacuum would have to return to its base to charge. Then one day, all of a sudden, it stopped holding charge completely, complicated by that fact that it did started doing that until I owned it for 4 months and the thing was outside the window to be eligible for return. I definitely recommend going directly to the manufacturer for this product to ensure that the battery comes with a valid warranty, as mine did not because it was not purchased through Neato.AVOID, it may be cheaper now but will cost you more in the long run.

This is my 2nd purchase of this battery. Last one lasted about 1-year, which according to my Neato manual is about right for the Neato batteries. Looks like I’ll be shelling out $25-$30 / yr for BotVac batteries. I guess not too bad.
Nick R. –
I’ve bought this same battery twice because it seems like a little after a year it starts running out of power and my neato starts throwing out random errors. I think for how often I run my vacuum and the price of these batteries this battery is worth it. In about 16 months I’ll buy another one happily knowing I can keep my neato a little longer.
Ash –
Does not work. Neato just ends up giving a bunch of errors because the power delivered by the battery is not what Neato is expecting and it attributes it to stuck brush and other such issues

Brought our Neato back to life! We were constantly getting the error message to turn the ON switch back on, and the battery would look like it was charging but then when it was taken off of the charger it would be dead. Sometimes we could still get it to work by resetting the unit. Then our Neato sat for 1.5 years until I bought this. This new battery fixed our Neato and we haven’t had issues since (been about 2 months). Great battery life so far, and at a reasonable price. Would recommend!UPDATE:Been ~4 months now and it’s all good

This item came in on time. The installation was easy. Charged it up, now my Neato is operating just as when it was new. I really thought I would have to replace my robot, but it is alive again. Time will tell on how long this item will last, but I am sure it will last as long or longer them the original. Before my Neato was not quiet making it back to the charger base to recharge. Now it has no problem making it back to the base for charging.
alex n. –
The original battery would provide about 1 hour of clean time on a full charge. I have a 3000 square foot house, neato takes about 3 runs [3 hours running total] to clean it in a day, and we clean the house twice a week… so we were discharging and recharging the battery 6 times a week. The factory battery last about one year before it completely died [and it was a progressive process with dwindling battery capacity]. I bought this replacement battery about 2 months ago and have continued the same cleaning schedule. This battery will run for about 90 minutes on a full charge and is not showing any signs of decline of storage power. I recommend this as a replacement battery.

Install was very easy, fit was perfect. Let her charge overnight and had a go.My Neato D85 did the whole house without having to dock for a recharge for the first time ever.Since the first run I have noticed recharge times are shorter, that means capacity of the battery is going up.I am very pleased with the quality and the great price of this replacement battery.

My original Neato battery died after 3 years, so I thought I’d try this one as a replacement. I’m so glad I did! It was super easy to install and my Neato is running better than ever! In fact, this battery made me realize my original battery must have been dying a while ago because my vacuum is so much faster now. Highly recommended replacement!

This is an awesome replacement battery for your Neato vacuum. I just received my second battery – the first one was purchased three years ago! Granted, I don’t run my vacuum every day but this brand has outlasted other replacements…including the OEM battery.

Solved my issues with “turn my switch to on” seems to be an issue where there is not much voltage left in the battery the bot does not see the battery as functional. This solved the problem. Hopefully the extended battery provides some additional life as well

1 month after purchase: I didn’t realize how bad my original battery (only 1.5 years old) really was until I replaced it. It was only going for ~10-15 minutes before returning to base to charge and even when running it wasn’t picking up everything. This new battery has been great so far. It takes a while to charge (we were used to quick charge cycles on the old, barely functioning battery) but performs very well. Really glad to have our Botvac 80 back to full power and cleaning like a champ. This replacement fits great – just like factory. Hopefully performance will remain high for many months to come.11 months after purchase: 11 months after purchase, my Botvac gave me a “Please open my dirt bin & push switch DOWN to ON” error. Internet research gave a workaround (pull of charger, open dirt bin, flick on/off switch to off, wait 10 seconds, flip to on, put dirt bin back, put back against charger, activate it and tell it to vacuum – it’ll start after it thinks it’s fully charged). Internet also said that once you have the error the battery is ‘broken’ and needs to be replaced.I contacted the seller – they replied promptly and provided this detail on the warranty:-30-Day Money Back Guarantee-6 Month Replacement Warranty-12 Month limited seller’s guarantee against manufacturer defects from date of purchase Warranty.- Lifetime Support GuaranteeThey offered me a % refund or a higher % reduction off a replacement battery. The %’s were both very generous. I opted to replace the battery and it’s working great so far. Even though this battery failed within 1 year, I still recommend the battery and the seller.

I purchased this 4000mAh battery pack to replace the original on our Neato roboVac. I was very pleased to see it took less than 5 minutes to install, charged right up and has been providing ample power to our roboVac with the added bonus of more power and time to clean more of the house before retiring to its docking station. I highly recommend this as a replacement for your Neoto roboVac!

After installing this battery our vacuum states we need to remove the dirt bin and push the switch to on. The switch is on. It appears that this battery is defective.UPDATE 1-7-2018 – eventually I was able to get the battery to work. I forget what I had to do but I think it was just a lot of persistence. However, the vacuum is once again now displaying the power switch error, indicating that the battery lasted about one month. I have contacted the seller to see if they will replace it.

Battery worked at first but then stopped after a month. I would not buy this because it will mess with the warranty of your product. This vacuum is too expensive to save a few bucks on the battery at risk of destroying the vacuum.

Own several of the bot vacs and two of the Neato Allergy earlier models. Prefer the latter to the botvac which is what this battery is for. Two years replaced twice with scheduled clean every other day on 1200 square foot one area and another 1800 square foot another area with second BotVac. The Neato brand is amazing and so is their customer service I just wanted to have like products so I didn’t have to keep a variety of different size batteries and filters but the two are not interchangeable.

Works great in my Neato BotVac 80. Cleaned my entire home in 1.25hrs on a single charge. I don’t have runtime duration for when my original battery was new, but I recall it always going back for a recharge before finishing. My hope is: additional 400mwh lets Neato finish in a single charge = fewer charge/discharge cycles per cleaning = less wear on the battery = greater battery longevity.
Patrick –
~Does the whole place without having to recharge again. Super easy to install, fit perfectly.~Edit: Nope, just kidding.Less than one month later it now doesn’t have enough charge to finish my whole 700 sq ft studio apartment without having to recharge once. It has run a total on 20 times so far. I know the first time after replacing the battery it was able to do the whole place in one go, so this isn’t just a smaller total capacity. I don’t know how soon it started having to recharge because I run it while I’m away. But seriously down to 50% capacity[1] after 20 charge cycles? That’s nuts.[1]: Based on the 3000 sq ft per cleaning cycle from neato’s specs, which I assume includes the recharging twice it’ll do, so 1000 sq ft per charge, and my estimate that it just did no more than 500 sq ft of my apartment just now before needing to charge.

I bought this battery 3 years ago to replace the original. The other day the Botvac stopped working. Since it is quite old I was not sure if the problem was the battery. I ordered this 6 months ago and it’s alrwady dead 🙁 what a waste of money . I only use my robot vacuum twice a week so definitely don’t get this if you use it daily …

Got it yesterday. Let it charge all night. Reset the Neato to know it’s a new battery. It didn’t even finish the basement before needing to charge. An OEM battery should be able to handle 1st floor and basement. We’ll see.

Battery is too big fir my Neato D4 as you can see in the pictures. It fits but the compartment doesn’t close. 🙁

Started to get the dreaded screen display about the ‘moving the switch down’. Tried to recondition the original battery but to no avail. Replaced the battery with the Morpilot and the Neato D80 is once again zipping around the house. Have not measured run time yet, but seems comparable to the original battery – close enough that I likely won’t bother verifying. If run time becomes an issue near term, I will repost with an update. Would buy again.

My Neato used to clean the whole apartment when I got this new battery. A month later and now it has to do two trips and sometimes three to clean the whole place.

most of these batteries are very expensive to replace and dont last very long. this one seems to be both long lasting and a good value i recommend

The first one I received did not charge after the first use but Amazon provided a quick replacement. The replacement is working well so far after 3 uses. Very satisfied with product and Amazon support.

When my Botvac battery died after about 8 months, I was pretty disappointed. And with replacement batteries running $50 from Neato (with only a 6 month warranty), I decided to try this half-priced replacement. If there is any difference between the Morpilot and the Neato in terms of run-time, I couldn’t tell. I’d say they both ran about 1.5 hours on a full charge on my mixed hardwood/carpet floors. Satisfied with that, my next concern was lifespan and warranty replacement. I run my Botvac three times a week, and each runs takes about 1.5 full charges.Lifespan:I got basically the same lifespan as I got from my OEM battery; the Morpilot died after 9 months, compared to 8 from the OEM. The new battery did last roughly one month longer, although that’s not a direct comparison because I did run my botvac a little more often with the OEM. I’d say that lifespan is basically equal.Warranty replacement:This is what I was most worried about. Some places make warranty a real hassle. You have to provide a bunch of paperwork, mail the dead product back at your own cost, wait a month to hear back from them, and then wait a few more weeks to get a replacement. But not Morpilot!Warranty was: 1) Me sending them an email with my Amazon order number requesting a warranty replacement. 2) Them emailing me back and asking me to take a picture of the batch number of my battery and send them a few details on how often I ran my botvac. 3) Me emailing them the photo and the details. 4) Them asking me to confirm my address to send me a new one. 4) Me confirming. This is one of the easiest warranty replacements I’ve ever done. With Morpilot’s 1-year easy warranty, you can reasonably expect to get 16-18 months of use out of a $25 battery. You’d be looking at $100-150 to get the same performance out of a Neato OEM battery ($50, and only a 6 month warranty).

Update 1/4/18After using this for about 10 months, the battery is pretty much dead. Not as great as I expected. Lowering from 4 to 2 stars.Original reviewWorks as intended with my BotVac 85 Neato. But its not clear if there is any additional capacity compared to the original. My original battery used to just barely complete my floor with one charge and this does about the same. I even spoke with Neato customer service and followed their advise for calibration of the battery (basically run 2 full charge to discharge cycles with the BotVac so that the full range of the battery is usable). But good for the price. Hope it lasts, I’ve used it for about 2 months.

Expected the battery to last for two years but it has lasted a little over 10 months and it’s time to replace them again.Update Oct 3 2018:Dropped one more star because I contacted the seller and they offered me a code for 60% off next purchase which is a great deal however, the code is good for 4 days and coincidentally they rose the price to $49.99 from ~$20 for those 4 days. WOW is all I can say! I bought another from ebay for $17.99.Update November 1 2020:Another Morpilot was bought with the ebay one in Oct 18′ and the ebay battery came to an end at a little over a year and Morpilot covered about 11 months. Giving this Morpilot another try since its priced at about $26 and lasts about a year.

Ordered August 13, 2018, will no longer hold a charge as of 01/13/2019. Neato was used less than 10 times with this battery otherwise it’s been sitting on the charger dock. 5 month battery life is unacceptable for cells that cost less than 1/5 to manufacture compared to selling price. Will NOT be purchasing again. Going back to OEM Neato battery.

This battery is easy to install (watch a Neato Botvac video for this) and fixed the problem with the botvac reporting that it needed it’s laser cleaned (cleaning the laser fixed nothing) before it would continue operating. It is odd that the NEATO botvac doesn’t correctly identify the problem as being a battery replacement needed.

I got 6 months out of this battery, that is all. I bought it to replace the factory Neato battery and after using the vacuum approximately every 2-3 days, it was dead after six months this use. Not nearly as good as the factory battery, of course that’s why it’s cheaper.

I have two neatos which are two and three years old. I have purchased three of these batteries and they have worked perfectly. They last about 18 months whch is just like the the OEM battery did. At $23 dollars this is great. If you don’t use your botvac at least once a week don’t expect any battery to last this long. We run ours three times a week normally but sometimes maybe once a week.

Battery didn’t last 2 months before it wouldn’t hold a charge anymore.

Update: The new replacement battery ordered October 2019 has quit charging after less than 2 months.I ordered a battery Dec 2017. It’s been 22 months and it’s still running going! A little sluggish and seems to get lost going back to the base so I ordered another from this seller. Will keep this one as a back up.

I have been buying these for about 3 years now, and up until now they have been longer lasting than the original neato battery. The quality has changed. PROBLEM 1)The last morpilot battery i removed from botvac had such high force on the battery clip that it could not be unplugged and when it came out it pulled the connector off the main board of the botvac. PROBLEM 2) I have ordered 3 batteries in a row and the electrical connect retaining clip was broken off upon arrival. It seams they have changed the supplier for the electrical connector and instead of a nice flexible plastic it is now a brittle plastic. I like the battery longevity of these but this has become a real frustration.
