The back pack is too short. It digs into the middle of my back. My cat is only 8 pounds and it tugs too much on my shoulders. It needs to be a little longer to reach my lower back for support.

I like how lite and sturdy it is,zippers work just fine (they also got latches)for the money I think its great,I have 6m old Maine Coon that fits inside with an extra space(so I have a hope she wont overgrow this backpack in future) she loved to sit in it as well as being on top of it.

The item is too big. Not very comfortable.

I bought this to take my cat to the vet, and I chose it over those hard plastic bubble backpacks because it’s been an extremely hot summer and I wanted to make sure he could breathe easily while in transport. It’s easier to use than a traditional carrier, especially since the vet is within walking distance. After yesterday’s appointment, however, he had an accident and it’s been impossible to remove the cat pee from it. I’ve tried every cleaner and solvent I own (including the expensive ones that are designed to eliminate pet waste products that work on everything else). It’s a shame that I’ll have to throw this out, but at least it was only $35.

I love the design with all the easy access points to get my cat in and out as well as the safety features of the zipper locks. The sun-flap on top is ideal so that the inside doesn’t get too hot. My only complain is that it would benefit from better padding where the bottom of the backpack rests against your back. I have another cat backpack that has significant padding and is quite comfortable. I needed a larger backpack for my other cat, so decided to purchase this one and the difference in comfort is remarkable. I’m going to try and add some padding in myself as without it, wearing this backpack for any significant time would be quite uncomfortable.

Works wonderful nice size for my 12 lb Chihuahua she likes it I like how the zippers close the screens and then they lock

Ever Since we’ve had Miggy, my boyfriend and I always wanted to get a catbackpack. Miggy loves being outside but he won’t runaway or jump fences. He just likes being outside. So we finally found a backpack where he can be comfortable and he absolutely loves it ! He won’t leave that thing.

I’ve been trying for years to carry my dog in a backpack without any success. Finally I found the one that she is comfortable with and it is also comfortable for me. Just took my dog on a hike and carried her for at least a good hour and she didn’t even make a noise once. She was so happy and relax.

We bought this product after buying a different one and the materials of this bag were brilliant it’s very good quality. We didn’t know if our cat would like this but it turns out she loves it and she is a full grown cat and can lay down. There is plenty of air flow in the bag and lots of view points for the cat to look out of. Definitely recommend this bag for cats.

I took this backpack on a road trip across the United States, and carried my long-haired cat. Made sure to take the time and slowly introduce the cat to the backpack (associated it with treats, pets, and more importantly cat nip). My cat is not a fan of travel of any kind, so there was some angry yowls at first. She even tried to claw out the bottom, sides, anything she could sink her claws into really. The backpack took it all, and my stomach and legs were very thankful. After the first day of travel she began to see the backpack as her safe place where she could curl up in the bottom, or sit up completely and look around. While the car was stopped I unzipped the front panel and she could stretch out more but remain “safe” in her bag. While I did have my cat in a harness, I never attached it to the lead in the backpack (something just seemed wrong about doing that, it wasn’t like I was mountain climbing and worrying about her falling to her death). Some things I would change – the bottom of the bag has little spikes and since the backpack sat in my lap they hurt and left marks on my skin, the bottom panel the cat lays and sits on could be a lot stiffer I thought it flexed too much when carrying her. Overall I love it, highly recommend it, so happy some not only came up with this idea but went to all the trouble of creating this awesome product that made road tripping with a cat just a little easier.

I have a 7 pound Yorkie and he fit perfectly in this back pack. It made it so easy to fly with him. It didn’t kill my shoulders either. Glad I purchased!
MJ Schrader –
I wanted to like this backpack. Just got a puppy a month ago, and the backpack did not have quite enough ventilation. This one is a bit roomier and has a lot more ventilation. But the back pushes into the carrier taking up valuable space. The bottom is not sturdy enough either. Both should use a thin board or heavier cardboard. The back should also be sewn better into place which would help with it collapsing into the case.I got this case I walk two miles every morning and carry her and because it’s summer and she is growing, she was getting hot with the old case. So I like the larger windows. But the lack of shoulder padding was really getting to me without a water bottle, since this bag doesn’t have a pocket that can hold a water bottle.SoPROS:Larger windowsbetter pet ventilationEasy to see my puppy if I wear it as a front case.CONS:Back pushes into case when worn: Needs a sturdier back & sewn into place betterBottom is thin: It needs a thicker bottom. Preferably a bottom in a case that allows for a thicker piece of hardiboard and a bit of padding.Shoulder straps are a bit too thin and wide (the width instead of distributing the weight makes the pack a bit more uncomforableNo water pocked. One side window should be reduced to add a longer skinny pocket close to the body to allow a water bottle.

I have never written a review on here before, but I gotta say this is really a great item. Very sturdy, comfortable and perfect fit!! I feel safe using this backpack outdoors with my growing Bengal cat especially with the reinforcement locking clips and great air flow. I would definitely recommend this backpack for anyone wanting a quality item to use while outdoors, flying or as a pet carrier! Very excited!!!
Jimmy SR –
Its a good product. Cat fitted well in it. The shoulder straps are wide so they don’t hurt you. I do not give it five stars only because the material its made of attracts and holds the cat’s hair. And since cats shed lots of hair whenever they are somewhat stressed this means there’s a lot of cleaning after each trip to the Vet and not simply passing a wipe!
Joy –
Over all this is a good kitty pack. We use it for car rides and hiking and eating out and shopping. My cat gets in and out of this while we are out. It is a well made pack. I do wish it have more storage. And a removable top door. My Maine coon kitten will out grow it. It comfortable to wear though and it was a good starter bag. I would recommend this for a small to medium size cat. Large and extra large cats will get cramped and become heavy to carry.

Good cat-pack (hehe get it).–Pros— Have used it in rain, snow, and sunshine. It collapses down well- cat can look out but has decent privacy- side pockets are very useful- good airflow- the flap at the top is nice. Can close if it’s rainy, can open if it’s dry–Cons— The straps just don’t work for people who are above 6 feet. Strap for the waist is at my belly button and is not adjustable.- Medium sturdy. We have a big strong cat, the bottom of the bag isn’t flat when we walk. Probably doesn’t have to be for our cat but still a con.- start digging into your lower back, only bugs me if I walk longer than ~20-30 minutes

My daughter can use it when we travel. Our 10lbs chihuahua fits well in it and like the mesh windows to look out!

My pups love this! If I put it on the ground and open the front this is immediately what they do. They each are just under 5 lbs. I wish there was a little more room sideways but they don’t seem to mind being so close as long as they get to come along. I like that it stands straight without being too hard. Others I’ve purchased look like this in the picture but when they arrived couldn’t stand upright on their own. The straps are great too. Very comfortable to wear. I’m 5’8 and the bottom of the bag hits right above my hips. With the top being being very close to my shoulders.

Overall quality sturdy construction. The zipper clips are a bit difficult for me to clasp and unclasp. Our cat seems pretty happy to explore it. I was concerned about him fitting. He’s a 12 lb male cat, the fit is pretty tight but it works. If you have a larger animal then our cat it will likely be too small.

My 13 lb boy fits well. I schedule the bi-annual checkups for my 3 boys on the same day…consecutive appts. I have three hard cases and struggle managing all 3 (only 2 hands). This allows me to carry one in each hand (14 lbs and 13 lbs respectively) and this one securely on ky back.Make sure you secure the zippers. I accidentally missed one and my boy almost got out.Answer to a prayer.

OMG I love my backpack. My cat is about 8 pounds I think but I’m sure his fur is about 4 pounds. He’s fluffy. He does not mind the backpack either. He doesn’t automatically go into it but he will enjoy going for walks with us in the backpack. What I really enjoy is the people and and kids who stop us to see my cat in the backpack.Pretty cool! This backpack is AMAZING and I highly recommend it.It’s sturdy, hasn’t torn, it came with a water or food bowl, and it has a leash attached to the inside.
NickiiB. –
I use this for my 11.3lbs cat (medium-large), cause he is my Emotional Support Animal and this backpack takes his nails VERY well. its really sturdy and comfortable on my back. Sometimes the bottom can feel like its digging into your back but when i adjust the straps that eases it for a little.update:my cat totaly tore through the top mesh portion of this bag. not to mention the integrity of the back was starting to give out. If you have a lighter animal, less than 10lbs, maybe that wont happen? But it was a blessing in disguise that my cat ruined this bag bc i love my new cat backpack.

I didn’t buy this as a pet carrier. I have arm pain and I use mine as a food carrier from the car up 15 steps into my apartment. It works great because I can use it as a back pack and it seems to hold more than a regular back pack would.

Stable enough for our 8 pound cat. Fun to take her on hikes!

I absolutely love this backpack carrier! I’ve worn it on my front, on my back, and carried it as a classic carrier. It holds my 15# cat comfortably, and with the attached leash, he can pop his head out without me worrying he’s going to bolt. Wish the backplate/boning was just a tad sturdier, but all in all a fantastic buy.
Schmoop –
Its comfortable to carry our cat Ciara in while at the pet store. She likes being able to see out because she is a curious cat.
Sharon –
I bought this to take my adventure kitten on hikes. I like that it folds flat when not in use so it doesn’t take up much space in my car when packing to go camping. My kitten took to it well and was happy to ride along in it for hikes. He even climbed into it at camp to take naps. I appreciated the collapsible silicon water bowl that came with it. My only concern is that my kitten will outgrow it because he looks like he’s going to be a big cat. We love this carrier!

It’s very roomy for my kitten so I know it will be great when she is older too. Easy to figure out. Lots of ventilation for your furbaby to breathe. A soft comfortable pad at the bottom. My kitten loves to lay in it and use it as a jungle gym when not traveling. I love the added pop out bowl! Comes in handy!

The pack is nice and sturdy. My smaller cat seems to be ok with it. We tried it a couple of times. My 15 pound cat is too big plus that’s a lot of weight to carry around but we will try it again

MISS K R ELLIS –
Overall it’s well made, has nice accessories (floor mat and food bowl), thick straps, and it is great value for the price. I use this for my larger cat, and I previously had a hard shell one which was too cramped for him.The straps are thick and there is chest support which makes this quite comfortable – but my cat is pretty heavy (12lbs+) and I am very petite, so I still find this hard to use for longer periods. There’s a couple of things that I don’t like about it, first is that if you want to have the top window open for your pet to sit inside and look around, there’s no way to velcro the mesh door down. The solid flap has velcro, but I am thinking of adding some modifications to make it easier to strap the mesh window down when open while using.Second is that the bottom corner of the bag floor digs into my lower back when I’m wearing it. Adjusting the straps tighter does help, but I guess with the square shape this is almost unavoidable to some extent.

I brought my new kitties home in this and they were very comfortable and not stressed. I was also comfortable carrying them on my back. We got many compliments and asked where we got it. We have indoor kitties so when I wanted my allergic neighbor to meet them, they sat in there carrier with no struggle to get out. It’s plenty open for them to see their surroundings. Great purchase!!

This is a really well made carrier. I actually bought this for my 13lb. pet pal. He was very uncomfortable. This one is made for a Chihuahua or any toy sized dog, or a kitten. Otherwise it is a good product.

My cat was so much calmer and happier in this for a vet visit than he ever was in the plastic box, and he was much easier to carry. I personally wear it front ways “paranoid tourist” style instead of on my back and it works just great!!!

It’s brilliant. I use it for my small doggy and my guinea pig, depending on where I’m going and which one has to go, and both pets seem very comfortable in it, and obviously they are very secure, and if anyone is in doubt, I wear it on my back while I’m riding my motorbike and I’ve still got both pets. It’s a very neat pet transportation solution

What an awesome deal. This is a very well made backpack and sturdy. It is also spacious. I have a 10 lb cat and I take him hiking with me. I’ve had no problems carrying him or wearing the backpack for extended periods of time (hours). The waist and chest strap are great for back support. The front pouch is also very spacious and I can fit a bag of treats, some wipes and medical supplies too. I also like that I can put the sun guard flap down for hot days. My cat loves it and I often find him sleeping in it.

Excellent backpack. I especially like the clips that allow you to lock the zippers. Be sure to use them. I learned the hard way that my Houdini cat can work the zippers open. He opened the floor of the backpack zipper and fell out of the pack while we were hiking. Thankfully, he didn’t bolt and I quickly got him and put him back in. There is plenty of room for him. He weighs 8 lbs. I like the mesh sides and top and the side pockets.

Beans loves it. I love that every zipper is doubled up and have latches. Makes it feel super safe. Love that the front and top opens. When he gets bigger I’m excited to open the top so he can pop his head out. Comfortable on my back, he is a kitten so I can’t speak for full grown cats. I’d reccomend to anyone.

Peq –
Seemingly well-made. My kitten loves it when we get out of the house. 2 zippered pockets are decently sized and can fit a fair amount of items. The collapsible water bowl is a fantastic addition. The base is very sturdy and she does not wobble to much while in there. Good amount of support for me too, it has horizontal straps.I also like that it collapses on itself for easy storage. Would recommend to any of my friends with a small pet.

This worked great for moving with my cat. She loved seeing everything. Having this wss better then a regular carrier because: a. She didnt lean to one side and awkwardly have to carry it b. It was hands free so i could carry other things while keeping her close c. Lightweight and sturdy so even when she was moving the whole backpack wasnt moving with her.Great product! Pockets were useful to store food and leash in. Also reassuring that there’s a “leash” inside the bag so i knew she wouldn’t escape if a door was opened.

Overall the backpack is a little small. When my boyfriend wears it it’s tight across the shoulders. My cat is about 9 pounds and she can’t fit comfortably except to stand. I bought the pack to take my sick cat to the vet so I feel bad that she has to cram herself or stand up. Otherwise I’m impressed with the quality for such a great price. I like the ventilation holes and how it folds up to almost nothing to fit in my closet. So it’s OK if you have a healthy energetic animal who doesn’t mind sitting up the whole time. Or a small animal like a Chihuahua. Otherwise I’d love this backpack just a couple of inches wider.

This has all the things to keep your furry friend safe. The clip inside is great to use to make sure your pet can’t bolt away when you open any one of the entrances. I also love how each zipper set has clips to ensure that a pet can’t find its way out on its own. The extra pocket is also great for storing little toys and treat!

I bought this to take out 12 lb Shih Tzu on bike rides with us. I have had it for about a year now. I will give you my impressions. The good:- The compartments, pockets, airyness is well designed and the zippers have locks on them where they should (you can’t accidentally unzip it, it has a click lock to disengage first)- it folds flat for storageThe bad:- Our 12 lb Dog barely fits inside and take a few minutes to get comfortable.- The shoulder straps are not nearly padded well enough and your shoulders will be in pain 20 min into carrying your pet on your back- The stiff board on the bottom of the pack is also not padded well enough and will dig into your upper back causing pain- I would probably say any pet weighing more than 10 lbs would not be very comfy (nor would be the carrier of the pet) for long periods of time in this pack. All in all, it is better than nothing and enables us to take our pet on bike outings but I would have spend more money on a similar product offering more comfort for the carrier.

I used this to fly my average size cat from CA to TX. It can be carried, or used as a backpack. It also comes with a collapsible bowl and an inner leash to prevent escape. 10/10 would recommend. I may end up buying another one because I have 4 cats. My kitty was comfortable, the carrier was sturdy and although I only used it once, it seems to be made of very durable material.

I am 5’6″ and 122 pounds and this just doesn’t adjust to fit me. It always is sagging in the back and the straps dig deeply into my shoulders.I did walk 5 or 6 miles around Boston with my 10 pound dog in there for much of the time and he did fine.I HOPE airline swill allow this as a carry-on because I think it will indeed collapse enough to fit under the seat if you tip it on its side.**My 6’3″ son wasn’t able to get a comfortable adjustment when he tried either–but for short trips I think this will be tolerable–just not what I hoped for considering the price.

Doesn’t stay open. My cat (12 lbs) fell out and ran off (I got him back). Cat was in it a total of 2 times and both times got out (first time pushed through the top in my car and second time fell out the bottom, zippers unzipped themselves). Now it’s broken/defective. Total waste of money

My dog jumps around when this thing comes out and she can’t wait to get in. It works perfectly for running through the airport, on flights (even if it seems larger than stated maximum sizes on some airlines, we have never been stopped from bringing it on), on boats, on the back of a moped, or even for just walking around places when the asphalt was too hot for her paws. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Very sturdy, too. Also very comfortable for me, the wearer.
I. Ti –
Uncomfortable for the human and outright dangerous for the pet. The backpack lacks integrity and its sides smoosh inward, squishing the poor pet inside. I could have dealt with discomfort at the back level but this is bad for the pet. Back it goes.

I use this for my bunny, and it is wonderful! Very breathable, sturdy, and a great shape! Easily compacted and accessible to open!
Linc3to –
The bag is pretty nice, it does the job, but I have some issues and suggestions, one of them is that the bottom frame sort of stabs you in the back, because there is no padding in that area, the leash inside is a bit too short, so when Kimi is sleeping she is being pulled slightly, there’s also the issue with the top cover, you can roll the first layer but not the second one, so there is not a comfortable way to keep the top open for her to pop up and see, I have to shove it between the handles and my back, which is not very comfortable.Asides from that I think it’s a pretty good backpack, decent size and not too heavy even though could be lighter.I recommend you add one of your cat’s blankets so they stay warm, have a familiar smell and feel safe in the backpack.

This carrier is great. I have two cats that 12lbs each and I am slowly starting to replace their carriers that I had gotten when they were kittens (still fit but just not as good of quality). It’s hard for me to carry two cats so carrying one on your back is much easier. It’s sturdy and secure…I like how there are clips for the zippers but they are hard to get undone. It’s big enough for my 12lb cat. He can technically lay down a bit when it’s upright, but can lay down when turned on it’s side.

This bag looks well made and it would be perfect except that it has a toxic odor. I’m trying to see if the odor will go away but I doubt it. It sucks because it would have been perfect if it did not smell so bad. I’m waiting to see but I might be returning it because of the smell. It smellss like the cheap 99cent store objects.

The different openings on the top and in the front will need to be very secured and tightly closed so your little escape artist doesn’t try to make a break for it. I also recommend adding additional padding at the bottom.
C. Eriksen –
This backpack is well made and works well, however my cat is too heavy to carry comfortably, so I returned it.
Skippy –
Much better for carrying my 10 week old terrier puppy around until she is allowed to walk on the streets. She tolerates the rucksack being carried on my back remarkably well. I’ll probably change the floor to a fur fabric mat that can go in the washing machine, as the hard/soft floor provided looks difficult to wash and dry. I’d like more storage pockets tbh, the only one provided is only big enough for a small box of treats and a few poo bags! Having three entry flaps seems a bit excessive, perhaps one could be used as storage?4 months later! Still going strong I now leave it in the car behind a seat and she goes in it when we drive somewhere, feels safer than being in the back or on a seat with a restraint. Although she is now the size of an aduly Jack Russell she is still happy to go in and sleep in there!

Got this for my kitten and she loves this. Took her outside twice in the back pack this afternoon for a few minutes each to test her reaction out. she now has sat inside it most of the afternoon a sign she is pleased with the purchase. Adventures here we come. Here it’s pictured on its side

So far I’ve used this twice (I’ve had it for a week) I really like this, my only complaint is the support pad/board is on the cheap side almost like it’s just a piece of cardboard. However this bag is very well made and it does hold it’s form very well. I never thought that I would need those belt strap buckles but they come on every zipper so your pet can’t push the zippers apart which is amazing. I would definitely recommend buying this and just put a small shirt or pad on top of the one provided for comfort. The mesh is nice and sturdy and won’t rip and tear open (it is like putting 3 or 4 window screens together). It does also double as a little house for them if they want something to sleep in (like mine have in the picture). I’d also add that I was looking at the petamni and other one’s at around 35 dollars and up but did go with this one and I am glad I did! It is also reflective around the seams for nighttime.

Overall, this is a great carrier. My cat (he’s pretty small – about 9 pounds) fits in it very comfortably and seems to like it. It hasn’t fallen apart and is easy to clean. And the price is great. However, I purchased this particular carrier because it looked to be sturdy enough so that he could sit on top and look over my shoulder while I’m walking. That isn’t the case; I actually got a pretty funny video of him sliding right off! Similarly, when he is inside the carrier looking out the back, that wall collapses and the hard bottom shifts out of position. I will have to see if I can sew/glue some rods into the wall to hold up the top. I think he would really be happy with that.

We had a terrible accident the last time we took our cat to the vet… we didn’t have a nice carrier like this and our cat jumped from my wife’s arms. We never ended up finding our other cat. I will never take my other cat to the vet without a carrier. Lesson learned 😢 This one is built very well and the blue matches my kittens eyes— she looks great. The build quality is great and seems like it’ll outlast our cat… sad as it is lol.

I really like that every zip has the clip lock just incase he tries to separate the zips. I like the hard floor insert that is fluffy to keep it straight and upright and him comfy! I like the lean attached on the inside to allow for you to open the top and let the cat pop his head out without worrying he will jump out. And i thought the sides would just be net but it’s a shaded transparent rubber over the net so they can’t rip at it. I think it’s great! And our cat is an adult cat so he is big enough and he was so happy it. He cried when we came home and took him out! Lol the bag itself is lightweight and very well thought out for the needs of any cat.

The most uncomfortable part of this is the way the ‘hard’ floor of the backpack hits you in the back. I carried my 13.5lb jack russell in the pack around my house and decided it wasn’t the one.I also tried the backpack that has the extra room that opens up when it isn’t a backpack. That one has the same problem of the floor of the backpack pressing into one’s back. I’m not sure what the solution is.None of the straps in either backpack were placed at the hip level. I’m 5’5″ women and they were belly strays and neck straps.

High quality bag. Sturdy. It comes with a water bowl! My favorite feature is that has little snaps on the zippers so there is no chance of your animal getting it open

This backpack is comfy for me to wear and spacious for my kitten to sit inside of. I love all the zipper openings and phone pocket it has. My cat tried to jump out but the inside tether saved him from falling to the ground.
Heather Leigh –
I purchased this to include in an emergency kit. It is nice and compact while also feeling sturdy and safe when opened. There is a good amount of mesh where my cat can see out but also not feel completely exposed/unprotected. I haven’t actually used it yet, just opened it up to check it out and then it went right into the kit I was making. Its fairly spacious and will fit my smaller adult cat quite well. Overall, I’m satisfied with this purchase
Kimberly –
This bag is amazing quality and very convenient. Most cat carriers I’ve had felt like my kitty was slanted and being squished especially because she was hanging at my side. Carrying a 12lb cat with one shoulder can get very tiresome very fast too. This bag offers her a stable base and she is always super comfortable when I carry her around in it. It also feels comfortable for me with the cushioned shoulder straps and I’m able to carry her whole 12lbs without getting tired. I love that she’s able to get in from the sides and the top too! I even leave the bag open and she’ll just relax in the carrier even if we’re not going anywhere. The sides are see through so my kitty can breathe and see where she’s going and I can peek at her from the top flap as well to make sure she’s doing okay. Overall a great carrier. I don’t see myself switching back to a traditional cat carrier. This is it!

The backpack itself is great! Seems well made, the zipper buckles are genius, top and side openings make it spacious and accessible, and it is sturdy while remaining flexible. My cat loves it and treats it like a toy when we are at home, so he is calm when we are in the car and he has to be clipped in. The tether allows him plenty of movement in the backpack while allowing the door to be open so he is secure without feeling trapped. I see many grand adventures with this backpack and my cat!Honestly, it probably deserves a 5-star rating, but I was really disappointed that I did not get the removable mat and collapsible dog bowl.

This exceeded expectations – well made and Looks attractive. Not yet transported my cat in it but looking worked to taking him out and about

Item fits my 17lb cat and comparing it to the other hand held or over the shoulder carriers, it is much easier to carry my big boy in this backpack carrier. This holds more true when I have to take multiple pets to the vet.Having the top opening makes it easy to put him into the carrier after the challenging part of catching him. Nice and affordable, and recommended for others.
Mrs. OCH –
We absolutely love this backpack for our cat! Especially love that it has five doors that unzip and open fully and a front pocket for treats or your keys and phone. In fact all of those things can fit into the front pocket easily together. It is especially roomy and the materials are nice and not cheap looking at all. It has great breathability for your pet and would be fine for a fat big cat or small dog too. We also love the top visor rolls up or down and can be velcro back. As we live in Texas and it can get very hot here and the sun is intense and likely very uncomfortable for your pet. We used to have the moonroof backpack for another pet, which we also loved, however our cat cried a lot in it and we think it’s because the sun got in so much through the dome that it made him uncomfortable. Though it was so cute. Our new kitty is about 8 pounds and very, very tall. This backpack will work fine as our cat grows, since he is only 7 mo. old.The only thing I would say to watch out for, is be very sure to use the buckles to secure the zippers, which this backpack uniquely offers. We have been using this backpack for about two months at least once a day for walks with our kitty and to take it to the vet and on car rides. Tonight of all nights on a walk, about seven blocks from our home the cat jumped out! It scared the heck out of us and fortunately we were able to scoop her up somewhat quickly afterward. Thank goodness bc there are lots of dogs and coyote bear where we live. The makers of this product are well prepared for this and they gave buckles for all of the zippers to give you even extra security. We were not using the buckles at all really, even though we’ve used this backpack about 50 times now. We won’t make that mistake again. It would be terrible if you were out on a hike somewhere, or out of town and lost your pet due to not fastening the buckles to securing the zippers, when the extra security is offered. So be warned folks. Double check all the zippers are closed fully, since there are so many doors on this cat backpack, and secure the zippers with the buckles, if you are in any doubt, or traveling about away from home or near other wild animals. We love this backpack and it is comfortable on my 6’3” husband and myself at 5’8” athletic build bodies.

Love the size and how comfy it is for both kitty and I. Only thing I wish it had was a double handle, or a handle in the middle for easier pick up. I feel bad picking it up and having my cat be lopsided.

I feel like there are a lot of similar options out there but what sold me are the clips on the end of the zippers to add security. I LOVE that feature. I use this for walks and transporting him to the vet. I always get compliments from pet owners. Would recommend.

My cat loves this! He instantly came and sat and laid in it as soon as it was out of the packaging. I love the various openings and vents. Plus the strap for the harness so he doesn’t fall out if he wants to stick his head out of the top whenever we travel. It’s a great investment and super happy with it!
A Jennings –
We were very impressed by the quality of the carrier. It is sturdy and practical for taking the cat out for trips to the vets. Our kitten was very happy on her journey to the vets.we would recommend it to owners of cats or small breed dog owners. Also come with a bowl attached and small base that is carpeted. We’ve used it a couple of times so far. We’ve had no problem at all 👍

It comes with a water bowl which is a plus. But other than that The bag is really good quality. It has a separate pad u can put on the floor of the bag that is very thick and solid which adds to the structure when its all zipped up right. Its sturdy and has a good quality feel to it. Also love that it has a bungee chain in the inside so I could attach that to the collar for safety.

My cat really likes this backpack he hops in every time I bring it out. I like that its collapsible and comfortable for the wearer .The leash inside is good for protecting the animal and the pickets were perfect for leash, poopbags, treats, etc definitely would buy great deal and is the best I have seen yet . He even goes biking and trick or treating

Really good backpack for my ragdoll kitten, I think it will be a bit of a squeeze when he’s fully grown but will be good for short travels. The only thing was when it arrived it absolutely stank of cigarette smoke, I would have assumed it was kept in a warehouse so I can’t understand why it smell as strongly

I have a hefty indoor kitty (about 13 lbs) who loves being near windows and open screen doors. I wanted to give her a way to feel the breeze and get the feeling of outside and this was great! Took her for a walk and she loves it. People around you get surprised that a cat is in there but it’s worth it!
William Feeler –
Seems like a pretty good backpack at first. However after about 5 uses one of the straps has already broken. While wearing it the strap that goes across the waist came apart. The rest of it seems alright, but hopefully nothing else breaks.

Got this for my yorkie puppy when it became apparent he was too rambunctious as a baby to ride to and from work with me everyday without being in a carrier. The very first ride did not go well, and he had an accident which he smeared around the carrier on its very first use. Not ideal, but it proved how nicely it cleans up, and how easy it was to open up and wipe down. After that, he has learned to love it. Although he does try to bust out sometimes it is extremely secure (all the zippers have breakaway clasps). He doesn’t mind being in it, especially when I have it on, which made an hour wait each time we went to the vet much easier than trying to control a puppy on a leash. My “extra large” as I call him is almost 7 lbs at 20 weeks, and I hope he stops growing, because I wouldn’t recommend for a dog much larger than that, but for him it’s perfect (sometimes he will voluntarily nap in it instead of his bed when its on the floor and the door is open) and it is holding up well with daily use.

My chihuahua can’t walk as far as my other 2 dogs. So bought this carrier for longer walk with her. She lay down. Backpack did slope a bit when climbing up hills, however, she didn’t seem to mind.

This was a really cute backpack. I was planning on a cross country trip with my cat and wanted to transport her easily in a backpack. I was super excited when this arrived and she liked looking out of the mesh windows, however after a long walk around the neighborhood I found the backpack “sagged” with her weight (12 lbs) and it dug into my lower back. It was not comfortable, so I returned it. Might be great for a smaller animal, but it wasn’t something I felt I could hike around with for an extended period of time. My cat did like it, though, and would hop in it to sleep when it was sitting on the floor.

Our cat gets spooked at the smallest things so I was not real sure how she would react to this backpack idea. I unzipped the front panel, lifted her inside the backpack, attached the safety hook to her collar and then zipped up the backpack. I did this on my workbench which made it easy for me to slip my arms thru the straps and just start walking. Our first walk was for a few blocks and she was behind me so I could not see what she was doing or how she was acting, however, she was not trying to get out or yelling. We got home and I set the backpack on my workbench, unzipped the front panel and she was calm. Removed the safety clip and she walked out and then sniffed around the backpack. Yesterday I decided to wear the backpack on my chest so I could look thru the top and see what my cat was doing. She was happy and sniffing the air and looking around. Walked an additional few blocks and she was happy the entire time. Today I set the backpack on my workbench and she came running, jumped on my chair and then to the workbench and she walked into the backpack on her own. I zipped it up and we went for about a mile walk and she was happy all the way. I like wearing the backpack on my chest so I can get a kick out of watching her. The backpack is pretty comfortable hanging on my chest and our longer walk today did not stress my shoulders. You can also put your hands under the backpack while walking to lift a little if you think there is too much weight on your shoulders. I feel the construction is good, materials are good and they put thought into safety by having zipper locks and the tethered hook inside that connects to the cat’s collar. So the cat can’t break the zippers apart plus the cat is connected to the inside as well. She really loves this and I can see now that this is going to be a daily thing she likes to do. I was amazed that she jumps on my work bench and walks into the backpack as soon as I place it up there… after only two walks! I would recommend this to anyone who has an indoor cat to get them out of the house and get some fresh air. And… It’s great to get me out to burn off some calories! Great work on this product!

Very durable cat carrier! It seems very secure as you can buckle each part that zips fit extra safety. Less awkward and bulky than regular cat carrier. Comfortable to wear as a backpack. Top opening makes it easy to get my cat who hates traveling and is terrified of everything in. My other cat who enjoys going places loves it! She can see out all sides and doesn’t wobble around because it is tall enough for her to sit up comfortably. Low price makes it seem like it won’t be well made, but it feels and looks very high quality. Definitely recommend!

It is huge and so the backpack itself is sturdy with a little weight, add a pet and it’s a heavy backpack! The value was definitely worth it but if you have a 2lb foster kitten, it might be a little too big!

I use it for my cat only downside is its made for a small woman to carry. Not a 6’2 240 lb man. Other than that its a good carry bag for our cat.

I don’t write many reviews, but this pet carrier is great. It is very well made as the size pockets fit my iPhone 8+. The zipper have locks for just in case and the hook on the inside “leash” is metal not plastic! Super comfortable with padded shoulder harness. Plastic feet to help keep it from getting dirty of the ground. And plenty of mesh space for air. I highly recommend. Worth the money for sure.

Due to this whole crisis we’ve have had to make more creative ways to keep occupied. It’s been a great bag to take dogs along to dog park on bike. Two smaller dogs will fit in bag. My two yorkies are about 5lbs. Has several pockets to carry dog bowl that came included treats leash and potty bags. Inside leash comes in handy if you want to use bag with top zipper open. Bottom has a sturdy base with a fur like liner to make it more comfortable pups to sit on.

Update: our kitty LOVES his travel bag!I tried a couple other similar products with a different style that did not work. This product is the best ever! It is quality and you cannot beat the price. It’s durable. It’s comfortable for both pet and person. and most importantly it’s secure! I love this product and completely recommend it!!

We bought this backpack for our cat who screams 4 hours a day due to wanting to be outside. Since she hates leashes, we decided to give this a try.The didn’t mention that it has reflective material so that you can also be seen at night! AMAZING! We are very happy with it. I wish the bottom was a bit more sturdy so it doesn’t feel like she’s sagging in it. But overall, we love it and we love that she’s safe inside there because of the locks on the zippers. I’m also not worried about her suffocating because it has so much breathable, mesh material! We LOVE!!

I like the look of this bag and the quality feels very good. My cat is a petite little lady maybe 8 lbs and she has plenty of space. I adopted her 5 months ago so I wanted to try and see if she is the type of cat who likes walks. I’ve taken her out twice and both times she was nervous, but she did have a little fun looking at the birds. She is very shy in general so I think it’s just some getting used to. The bag itself is great. The pockets on the side are convenient and the mesh on all sides is good so she can see everywhere. I leave it open in the house and she naps in it sometimes. If I had another cat the same size I could fit two in there.

This will be comfortable for a very small dog. I have a 13 lb cat and this is a tight fit for him. He cant see out while sitting due to the screen placement is too low. And its too small for him to lay down.

Amazing! My kitty flew on Alaskan Airlines with me and she was a happy camper. Fit perfectly. Love all of the zipper open up options it features and there are clips for added security. Great for ventilation too as I was worried she’d overheat. I bought another carrier (different type, not a backpack, where there was zipper expansions and wish I had only gotten this one as it is bigger).

I got the backpack yesterday and both the cats loved it. Which I am impressed, as they aren’t big fans of getting into enclosed areas like cages, boxes or bags. A great thing to have when owning cats, as it’s saves time from getting the cat in the bag to go out. Would recommend

Good product. Only wish had a big pocket on each side as the previous model I owned.Easy to carry and to clean

I haven’t had a problem, the bottom is a little stiff so if your fur babies are as spoiled as mine then a blanket in the bottom would work best, my little rat terrier chihuahua has been in it and it held him fine, I mainly got it for my cat so he can come out more with us and he loves it! I really appreciate the fact that the zippers also have clips on them for that extra comfort for any “just incase” scenarios, I have not had any issues with the zippers failing so far

I really love this pet backpack! I originally purchased it for my 2 indoor cats for outside time, but ended up getting a small corgi mix shortly after! She fits perfectly, and the air vents on the side make it perfect for when it gets warm! The bottom of the backpack also has a removable comfort pad, with a fluffy side for colder times, and flat almost straw side on the other. All 3 of them love it!

This product has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this backpack for cats. It is sturdy, supportive, and well constructed. The fabric and materials are high quality. All of the zippers have a security feature. There is excellent ventilation. The mat inside even has a firm or soft side. Add small blankets for extra cushioning or during cool weather. This is an attractive looking backpack. The chest and waist straps are very beneficial. Comfortable for cats and humans. Impressive design and functional features. No need to look further because it is your solution and wins best pet carrier. Enjoying every day, thank you!

Easy to travel with cat using this travel bag. My cat loves itm it comes with collapsing bowl for portable foods. Easy to strap on your body as well as while in the car. Enough room for a 14lbs 3 y/o Cat

Get this bag! You will not regret it! Our fur baby is so comfy and got used to the bag right away. The holes are great for treats or sticking your fingers through. I love that it has so many zippers and how it folds up as a space saver!! Also love that each zipper buckles together and the attachment in the inside! The mat inside is great, and sturdy. I also really like the top carry handle. I also love that the bag can turn sideways for more room to lay down. The bag itself is stylish and a great backpack to take your fur baby out!! For reference, our kitty is five and a half pounds. He can lay down curled up very comfy and cozy! One of the main reasons we chose this bag is because it was able to fold up, and turn to the side. I love that it is a space saver but while it is all the way popped out, there is plenty of room!! The price is really nice as well, especially compared to the high cost of the bubble bags! I also love the pocket in the front! It perfectly fits the added bonus gift of the collapsible bowl , which I also looooove!!!!! Bucky the kitty approves!!!!!

This bag is absolutely brilliant and super spacious that this will last years as my kitten is only 5 months old. My cat loves this bag and finds it very comfy to move around in. Wearing the bag is also super comfy and easy to adjust the straps. I also love that it comes with a collapsible bowl for travel. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who would like to take their cat/dog out on adventures too

I got this backpack because the other cat backpack I had tried was too small for my cat and seemed to lack good ventilation. I’ve also tried packs with a head hole for the cat to stick his head through, but my cat always seems to escape from those. With its mesh front, top, and sides, I thought this backpack would be perfect, which it seems to be for the cat but not for me. The straps are comfortable but the pack is not. The pack sits strangely high on my back when the shoulder straps are snug, which means the bottom edge of the pack and the edge of the floor mat dig into the middle of my back. I’d remove the mat, but it provides some base support to the pack, which already slightly sags under the weight of my cat. There is also a weirdly placed second strap below the chest strap and I can’t figure out what it is for. It’d be great if it were a waist strap to distribute the weight, but it comes out at diaphragm level for me.Pros:- zippers lock together- folds flat- lots of mesh for breathability- harness is elastic and pretty good quality compared to the other pack harnesses I’ve had- cat loves itCons:- bottom of pack not comfortable against back- lower strap placement- bottom slightly sags

I was really shocked by how much my dog and I both like this backpack. I really like the safety features this backpack has. There are buckles everywhere to keep your dog safe and prevent the zippers from opening, and a buckle across both the chest and waist to keep the backpack stable and more level while walking. The dog finds the backpack comfortable, so much that she even plays and naps in it, even though she has her dog bed. I honestly thought she would hate it, since she hated the last backpack I bought, but she even brings her favorite toy to play with in there, and there’s plenty of room for both of them. I’m excited that she likes it so much, because there will be less for me to pack when we go on vacation. I’m thinking I might just get rid of her crate and dog bed and make this her go-to.

I absolutely love this. Unfortunately despite liking traditional carriers my cat won’t tolerate sitting up in this. But the problem is my cat. The product is great. The bottom is sturdy and has a removable piece that gives a little more for the cat to grip. Theres a tether built in for if you use a harness. The ventilation is fantastic.I especially love the buckles that are on each zipper to ensure one can’t work its way open.Superbly designed overall, and great quality especially at this price. Shoulder straps are adjustable, everything about it is great. Im really disappointed my cat doesn’t like a backpack style carrier.

I bought this so my daughter could take our cat on walks. The cat seems to like it so far and has enough room. Our cat is average size, one and a half year old, 12 lb. Cat. He has enough room to sit up or lay down. My daughter says this was her favorite present she got for her 13th birthday! Love the collapsible water bowl and plenty of air flow!
KumoBuho –
My cat is destructive and this backpack holds up! She likes it better than the carrier because she gets to be higher up. It’s also good for when we go on walks because we can contain her safely and comfortably if needed and she has a familiar place to go in case she gets overwhelmed. Her brother is less interested but I may buy him his own and that may help. I’m not sure how helpful the restraint that comes with the pack is because knowing my Kumo, she would try to jump out and end up stuck so we haven’t used it but it is nice to have. Overall, LOVE this backpack (especially for the price!).

I love this backpack. I was concerned about the value considering the price point, however, it is one solid backpack. It seems quite sturdy and the zippers, although plastic, seem suitable. I have used it twice with my 12 pound cat and she seems to enjoy it. It looks a lot more expensive than it is. I like the options the pack comes with and the ability to select two entry points for the cat.

I’ve had this backpack for 6 months and many many hikes and it’s really held up. I like to take my cat on long hikes with me, but she’s older and usually gets tired after a couple miles and will ride in the backpack (that’s what she’s doing in the pictures). I usually leave the top open so she can stick her head out and sniff/look around. When she’s ready to get down, she’ll climb up on to my shoulder so I can put her back on the ground. On my end, it’s comfortable enough (definitely no worse than an actual trekking backpack) and I can put some of her food and the collapsible bowl in the front pocket, which is nice.

This backpack is a great size for my cats (one is about 8 pounds and the other one is around 12 pounds). They can both lay down comfortably and the backpack feels sturdy and is comfortable on my shoulders/back. I haven’t put them in the backpack together because I don’t feel like there would be enough room, but on their own, they love it!

Our cat loves to come on walks, but he tends to want to head back to the house sooner than the dog. This backpack carrier made or walking experience so much better, and he loved having a show for a while he smelled and saw the world around him. He was so comfortable, at one point he laid down while looking around. We also had no need to hook his harness into the back clip. The side pockets were excellent for feeding the cat’s leash as well as our phones.

This back pack style carrier works great for taking our cat outside hiking. Plenty of room and the cat likes it. Very well made. The cat can get plenty of air. It has pockets on sides for storing stuff as well such as cat treats. Inside you can hook the pets collar to the hook inside.

I took a long time to find the “right” backpack for our cat. And over all the ones Amazon has, I decided to give Morpilot a try! and man, thank God I did. Almost the complete perfect back pack!Pros:size, greatsturdiness, perfect!easy to use? yes!my cat love it, absolutely!comes with a water bowl, great sturdy quality on the water bowl as well!con: the base of the backpack digs into your lower back, but I went on hikes over 5 miles more than a few times now and it does not seem to bother anymore! It was initially that there was a discomfort for the first time I wore the backpack. (so it really isn’t that big of a con)I was able to give this backpack a recommendations to more than 3 people and they purchased for their cat and love it as well!! I say give it a try before committing to an expensive bag that is over $100.. but who know, maybe I will just keep using this one until it breaks!

The bag is sturdy, strong and comfortable to wear and my kitten loved it instantly. I was even able to put my kitten in the bag with my 4lbs chihuahua mix and they seemed comfortable but that doesn’t happen too often as the bag was intended solely for my kitten.

I totally enjoy this item and being able to take my kitty for a walk outside in the woods to see her reaction to the wildlife.

My little mixed Chihuahua was hesitated to get in at first. but once she gets used to it, she likes to sleep inside. Especially we cannot leave pets in the car under this hot weather, we were able to carry her inside the museum or stores. I am grateful that my dog is very quiet.

It’s perfect for my little Charlie! He seems comfortable in it! I put him in there with some toys and his blanket.

I have a kitten. He is small. This shouldn’t have broke. It’s garbage.

Perfect size for my Jack Russel 6.5 kg although he freaked out when I put him in it. Unfortunately had to return it due to that. Good sturdy carrier though with pocket for carrying bits and pieces.

Very good product but one big floor, when you strap your puppy in he tries to jump out and he could easily hang himself , so only option is to close the lid which means they are not seeing much at all . Shame because I bought this hoping that because he hadn’t had his vaccinations yet at least he could go out

I first saw someone at the park with this cat backpack and we ordered immediately! It’s been so convenient for vet trips. Turned a lot of heads at the vet. Most people I talked to thought it was a great idea. We have even walked our children to the bus stop with kittens in the pack. I leave it in their play area so they get used to playing in and around it. Lots of compartments for food and stuff if you were to take it on a longer hike/walk.

Definetly worth it my cat is pretty big and she likes it

It’s an amazing product but this is definitely for small dogs (15lbs or less). I underestimated my dogs weight (17lbs) and ordered this backpack carrier thinking my Jack Russell Terrier would fit. He didn’t fit inside he looked uncomfortable so I had to return the product because I want my dog to feel comfortable when I travel. But overall the quality of the product is definitely great. That I ordered a different dog carrier from them (Morpilot) that’s more bigger in size for my dog.

Good product but it’s a bit too snugged for one of my kitties. I went for a walk (<10 mins) with my 11lb cat and he was just too cramped. Don’t know if it’s motion sickness or because he doesn’t have enough room but he ended up drooling a lot. It does fit my 9lb cat though.Straps are too small with not a lot of room to adjust but the quality is there. I’d say 4/5. Comfort is probably a 3.5/5.I would only recommend if your kitty is <10lbs and isn’t lengthy.

I have a kitten who is 5 months old, she’s very spoiled but I needed to take her to the vet but I don’t want her freaking out and not being able to see anything, so I got her this backpack to ease some of her worries. She doesn’t hate it, but she doesn’t love it either. She cries a bit when she’s in it, but I know she’d be losing it if she was in a crate. I do prefer this over crates because while it’s a bit more expensive, and a little smaller… You can take them anywhere and go on hikes with your cat/dog, which is what I eventually plan to do. I live in Colorado and what better place than here? People also love seeing her, she’s a bit shy so she gets nervous but I’m hoping with enough introduction I’ll be able to take her anywhere. 🙂
